Pretty vague ending
It seems like the books released prior to the film release intentionally don't give much detail about the ending, but to be honest that sort of defeats the purpose of the book. Either that or the movie doesn't resolve well either.Edit: having now seen the movie, the book is definitely an incomplete telling.

Incomplete Story for $10.99, Waste of Money
UPDATE: Now that the movie is out, we have seen it and the movie doesn't end abruptly with no explanation like this book does. You do actually get to find out more about her parents and what Elsa discovers. Still, skip the book and see the movie. The movie was awesome! I guess they wanted to keep the ending a secret, but it's a ripoff when you get an incomplete book.My 7 year old loves Frozen and is excited about the movie coming out next month. I bought this because I wanted to know what the movie was about since the trailers don't really reveal much. I was very disappointed with this book. Throughout most of the book, it was great in detail: Elsa starts hearing a voice calling to her and she must go to the Enchanted Forest to find out secrets of the past because as Pabbi troll said, "Not everything about the past is what it seems." She journeys there with Anna and the gang. Once there, she encounters Mattias and his army, her father's old guardsman as well as indigenous people. Suddenly, she encounters different spirits, the wind spirit, fire spirit, and eventually Nokk, the water horse spirit and struggles with her powers. She also sees her parent's wrecked boat that they died on. She sends Anna and Olaf on an ice boat away because she knows it's dangerous to do what she is doing and she wants to protect them. So, we're all into this as she's about to discover answers to all her questions about her parents and her powers. Well, then the story cuts off just like that! It ends by saying Elsa finds peace and the answers to all her questions. Seriously? I'm wondering what she finds out. It also ends with Anna and Olaf receiving a snow/ice sculpture letting them know Elsa is ok and they'll be together soon. And where is Kristoff and Sven? I buy the Big Golden book versions of stories because it's usually very detailed and the ENTIRE story. This was a HUGE fail of a book because it ends abruptly without telling you what she finds out. The artwork is very pretty and eye catching, but I'm not happy with the book. I'm also wondering if this is how Frozen 2 ends in preparation for Frozen 3. At the time of this writing, the movie won't be coming out for a month and a half. Skip this book because it won't tell you anything. Not worth the price.

Left out the best parts- incomplete
This is SO disappointing! The book follows the movie well but completely cuts out the last 30 minutes of the movie. There is no mention of the best scene in the movie when Elsa is eventually frozen in the ice cave. It doesn’t mention Anna knocking down the dam or anything in the end! Why? Just why?

Massive Disappointment
Wow...this book is SO DISAPPOINTING. I expected more from Golden Books. It fails to mention critical parts of the movie's plot. The story focuses on Elsa and virtually ignores the incredible strength shown by Anna (no mention of destroying the dam, saving Arendelle, getting engaged or becoming the queen!) It never connects earth, wind, fire and water as the four elements of nature. There are sequencing errors -- e.g. the ice sculpture appears to Anna BEFORE Elsa arrives at Atohollan. What? Its ending is about Elsa finding inner peace completely ignores the really powerful message of the movie which is that there is a delicate and precious balance between humans and nature. What a missed opportunity to teach children.

NO ENDING, WHO LET THIS PRINT??
Did someone forget to add the ending?I’m including a photo of the last page.No mention of Anna breaking the damn, Elsa finding out she is the 5th spirit and that her grandfather started the war, Elsa saving Arendelle, Kristoff proposing, Anna becoming Queen, nothing! And that is NOT how the cave scene went down. Olaf melts and Anna sings about how to overcome depression.Who let this print???
