Alice's Adventures In Wonderland

I have several copies of 'Alice', the oldest being a 1948 edition... but this one is amazing! Chris Riddell's illustrations make it really special. The only thing that jarred on me was Riddell's re-imagining of the Mad Hatter as a pretty blonde girl with long hair - but only because nobody has edited the text to match and she is still referred to in the book as male ('...he', '...his', ' "I'm a poor man," the Hatter went on...', etc..).But if you love books, buy it!

Beautiful book, powerful images amongst the text. Captured the attention of my 3 year old for quite a while. Think she might come back to it when she's older, due to content of the text and nature of the story. Hardback cover feels and looks really nice. Artwork is incredible.

Lovely bedtime read for my boyfriends Nieces they love it Mummy and daddy reads it but the older one will read it on her own too

A Christmas present for a life-long Alice enthusiast. She is really pleased with this addition to her collection.
