Truly Awesome
I didn’t think the author could do better than her last book-‘then she was gone’- but she has. This was such a great read, keeps you guessing all the way through. I didn’t guess how all the characters were connected and i was hooked until the end. Ive read all of her books- they’re all so different, all brilliant but this was her best yet. Can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Classy psychological thriller.
I came to this novel after enjoying immensely Lisa Jewell's Then She Was Gone. If anything I enjoyed this even more. It is one of the very few novels that I never wanted to end but at the same time could only with great discipline put it down for a while. It seems to me to be in a class above almost all novels in this genre. It is literate, indeed beautifully written, has a wonderfully compelling and labyrinthine plot and a host of fascinating characters presented in unusual depth. I think that few authors have such an impressive control of their resources - the novel has so many incidents and relationships, which are cleverly fused together and issue in a convincing and wholly satisfying climax. I am surprised by the few negative reviews which find the ending an anti-climax and who lacked the stamina - not in my view that it required any - to complete the book. I look forward to the latest novel to appear on Amazon and meanwhile shall immerse myself in some of the earlier novels. Quite a special delight.

Quite Disturbing but compulsive.
This is the first book I have read by this writer while I await the next Shari Lapena novel. I have to say it was gripping. On first reading you may feel the plot a little far fetched but when I reflect on some of the people I have personally come across and the revelations in their relationships when their marriages/lives suddenly unravelled which were a great surprise to everyone who knew them, this is quite a revealing book. As a result of reading this I find myself questioning what I am told rather than taking things at face value. This may make the book sound very complicated but it isn,t. It is easy to read and compelling but also thought provoking. Will certainly get more of her books

What a rubbish book!
I was nearly half way through this book and was still waiting for something to actually happen. I only carried on because of all the 5 star reviews. It is the most boring book I’ve ever read. I couldn’t have cared less about what happened to any of the characters. What a terrible read. The ending isn’t a twist either, it’s poor.

A great read :)
I love this book 'Watching You'. I highly recommend reading this book, as you think you've got it figured out but then the story twists and twists some more.....wow, just read it, as I couldn't put it down!! and if you like this book, try reading 'Woman at the Window' - another great read!
