1 out of the 3 screw pockets is countersunk and that depth is proper for the screws they include. However the other 2 pockets are not countersunk which makes 2/3 of the screws too short to hit the wall. I didn't think they should lose a star over screws since the product is great, but that's mostly because I had longer black screws on hand so it didn't put me out. But if I had to go to the store to get screws I would have been annoyed. The product itself is great. I was worried about it not fitting my jumbo TP rolls (Presto! brand), which is 1 7/8" deep) but it fits just right.

The Antique and Vintage Collection Cast Iron Classic Toilet Paper Holder is very attractive and works perfectly as a hand towel bar in my bathroom. Very sturdy!

Beautiful cast iron. Painted in brown with distressed black. Some edges have been left rough so it could have used a better sanding job before painting. In other words the finish could have been more refined. But it is nice, lovely design. I like the way the rod rolls down and locks into place. The rod cannot slide out the sides and stays in place very well. The roll will not fall off, which is nice. It is also very easy to replace by simply rolling the rod up the sides. Overall, clever design. My only complaint is that the product is quite petite, and must be made for only very small rolls of toilet paper. I have taken photos for reference with the large thick Charmin roll to compare. The large roll will fit on but is very snug so it rubs against the back when dispensing and feels stiff rather than smoothly rolling out. But I guess once you're half way through the roll, it will roll more smoothly. Overall, nice product. Just wish it were slightly larger. Hopefully the photos help!

I was a little skeptical about ordering because of the length of time it took for delivery and some of the other reviews but this is actually very well-made and really nice. Some other people commented about it not being large enough to fit their toilet paper roll, but I buy giant mega packs from Sam's Club and they fit just fine. Looks great in my bathroom!

This looked really nice, seemed well made, and I like the easy lift off bar to replace the roll, but the dimensions the seller gave are not quite correct. While the overall width (or depth) is 3", from the back to the bar is more like 2¼", so a new double roll (Great Value brand) with the diameter of 2½" fit snugly up against the back and tore the paper a bit. Once you've used up some of the roll, this wouldn't be an issue, but I didn't feel like messing with it for every fresh roll, so returned it.I included photos of some other measurements since I couldn't find them anywhere on the listing.

The product is metal solid but the welding is a bit poor . Just two small dots in each union easy to break.

It will hold a large roll, which I was not expecting.

I believe in only buying things I cannot make myself- this holder is cast iron and looks like it’s really old- excellent fit in our 72 year old house

Easy to install, I was worried it wouldn't roll as good as plastic, but it does. Looks great, feels very durable. I love it.

The ad for this is very misleading as the last picture shows the item in a kitchen. I purchased this to be used as a paper towel holder. It’s actually only toilet paper size. Very misleading and very disappointing.

Very well made, sturdy with a real antique look as well.
