What can I say that hasn't been voiced here already.A truly awful book.No real story and an utter disappointment after waiting years for a new story.Ridiculous 'Mickey Mouse' aliens, minus the ears, who even come from the world 'Tasildweny' - 'Walt Disney' if you look....Apparently Uderzo wanted to pay homage to Disney. I suspect Walt Disney would have been offended by this rubbish book.Arnie clones - in years to come, nobody will get the joke.Can you imagine Indiana Jones finding an island where Donald Duck is still living?Utter garbage.I've been an Asterix fan for over 40 years and have every book - except this one.It went to a charity shop shortly after I read it. I don't even want in on my shelf.

Disappointing. Asterix just isn't as funny as the earlier books. Mansions of the Gods had me howling with laughter. This one had me thinking they've just run out of good ideas and good jokes.
