X gives me chills
After discovering Ms. Minogue in 2002 with her mega hit "Can't Get YOu Out Of My Head" I honestly thought she was a one hit wonder, but she keep the hits coming "In Your Eyes" "Love @ 1st Sight" and my favorite track from Fever "Come In To My World" asure me that she was a force in the music industry. When Body Language came out I was so surprise it was like a whole different but yet familiar sound so I decided to research her history, Ms. Minogue had about 20 years doing music and more than 10 albums incluying all her greatest hits albums. I even bought Ultimate Kylie(which includes of her hits) and Show Girl HOme coming Live(a 2 cd album, that recorded the first show she did after her recovery). Now she hits us with X, at first it took me a while to get use to 2 hearts, just like it was going from "Spinning Around" then to "Can't Get YOu Out Of My Head" to "Slow" and now to "2 Hearts" like i said before so much difference but yet familiar. I wasn't sure what to expect from X, and since in the states X will be released in Febraury(which I problaby will end up getting anyway), I got this version, this albums aims to please and it does, she even gave us an extra track "Ripping Up The Disco" which it's one of my favorites. In true kylie fan fashion you will be surprise at first, maybe ask your self what is this???, but after you listen to the whole thing it's one of the best albums of her career.I can smell a grammy nomination already(maybe she will even win like how she did with "Come in To My world").... 5 stars....

Best album since Impossible Princess...
This album was recorded and produced just as Kylie was coming back into the public eye after being in treatment for breast cancer. She wrote two of the songs which to me are reminiscent of her writing on Impossible Princess. People don't notice but Kylie's own songwriting is rather dark and introspective. She is a very intelligent woman and her writing I think reveals that best. When she performs her own writing it's as though she's letting herself be known on a deeper level-- but remember, this is pop/dance music so it needs to carry a certain tongue-in-cheek quality. Starting with '2 Hearts' the sound is classic Kylie pop perfection, hook line and sinker with the chorus will have you singing, "Wooooooo!" Trust me. Then 'Like a Drug' with that sort of 'I beat death" feel to it, especially since seeing her perform it live riding a giant floating golden skull (rent the DVD!). The production on 'Like a Drug' is nothing short of amazing. I am surprised she never released it as a single, it is very catchy! But my favorite songs of the album are 'Stars' and 'No More Rain', both of which have lyrics that touch upon Kylie's experiences as a breast cancer survivor. These songs IMO add the perfect dose of weight to what is otherwise a very fun electropop album!

How does she DO it?
No other pop artist (including her most obvious rival, Madonna, who I'm a fan of) has made as many great albums in a row as Kylie Minogue. She's often referred to as diminutive, as a less-than-perfect vocalist, and more about her looks than the music. While these descriptions aren't totally inaccurate - the visual aspect is intrinsic to her craft, as can be said about the likes of Madonna, Prince, and Michael Jackson (if you haven't seen any of her live dvds, you've just got to) - there is just no denying how great her albums have been. Ever since the Kylie Minogue album, when she broke from the teeny-bop formula and image and began to create her own voice, she's been absolutely unstoppable. Kylie Minogue, Impossible Princess, Light Years, Fever, Body Language -- even the two songs used to pad the Ultimate Kylie hits collection proved to be two of her best singles. And now there's X. Following her public break-up and even more public (successful) struggle with cancer, Kylie isn't thrown off for a moment. "2 Hearts" is another in a long run of instant-classic singles and kicks off the album on the right note. And it all flows from there (sequenced well, I'd liken it to Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor in that regard). I particularly like "No More Rain," "All I See," and "Stars," around 3/4 of the way through the cd. I'll be interested to see which songs are chosen to be singles, as there are a few that I think would do well. The beats are modern throughout, the songs melodic, positively sparkling. Whatever system she's got for collaborating with different producers and songwriters, it's working. This album is a cohesive, grooving group of songs that doesn't let up for the full 45 minutes. Another absolute winner.

Kylie's back!
I wasn't the hugest fan of Kylie Minogue prior to listening to this album. I had heard hits like "Slow" and "Can't Get You Outta My Head" and was very fond of them, however I had never purchased a full Kylie Minogue CD before, and now I know that I've been missing out. "X" is one of the best CDs I've bought all year and well worth the money. I had heard "The One" on an internet radio station and was immediately addicted to this song. I searched up and down iTunes for it and was discouraged when it was not available, so I went to Amazon and low and behold it was there. Not only did the "The One" satisfy my need for senthisized pop music, I also found several other songs on the album to be more than fanstatic. I bought this CD for one song and ended up loving the entire album. My favorites by far are "Speakerphone", "Sensitized", "The One", "All I See", "Nu-Di-Ty" and "Like a Drug". This CD is a pop masterpiece!

Sie präsentiert sich außerdem sehr modern, sehr Fever-like (Wow, Like A Drug, Stars), mitunter nachdenklich (Cosmic) oder gewohnt lasziv (Sensitized). Dazu gibt es eine Menge gut gemachter Popsongs zu hören (In My Arms, All I See). Alles in Allem ein betont grandioses Comeback der sympathischen Australierin, die uns hoffentlich mit noch mehreren solcher beispielhaften Popplatten begeistern wird.

I enjoy this album has it is different from Body Language which had few good singles except for Red Blooded Woman and chocolate this album was done a year and a half around late 2006 due too Kylie’s Cancer diagnose it was referenced too X as it is the Roman numeral for 10 , this is Kylie’s 10th studio album first track 2 Hearts it starts with the lyrics “You make me invisible Like the Sky, You make my Day’’ ,’’ I feel so Wonderful’’ ‘’Oh Oh Oh ‘’ Don’t let Go this is a great Kylie song it has a strong dance pop and rock background a lot of different music is in the song, It has a different vibe too Slow and Even Spinning Around a great Kylie Classic song I want too give this a 10/10 Track Two Like a Drug, I do Like this song it is Sexy Sassy and has a rather Britney Toxic Vibe It has Kylie doing sexy “ Boy You Got it” got it “You got me feeling crazy about my Body” Make me feel like I can make it real” You got me hooked get me on the Floor” I just can’t get enough of listening too this on repeat , Well I will give it a 10/10 Track Three in my Arms, is a Synth pop which featured elements of retro and Dance Music , it was so successful it was in the Top Ten in Romania, Belgium France UK, Switzerland and Germany however the song experienced low success in her native Australia where it peaked only at Number 35, this was also gathering positive reviews it was described as By Prefix Magazine reviewer Bruce Scott as Fuzzed out and Synth,, heavy and writes it was full of the kind of Elaborate Charm that made Love at First Sight’’ a past hit and too high praise from Evan Sawdey from Popmatters said “ A Track that absolutely demands Your Attention “ the video has Minogue in a blue dress near a fan with long pink ribbon and yellow ribbon in her hair and a blue dress , then she is in pink retro glasses this is the third single from the Album X 10/10 Track Four Speakerphone, well what can I say this track makes me not want too like it it was a different sound too Kylie like repeated but it is far too irritating for it too be a favourite sorry it is not good not any potential too be a single no wonder it was wasn’t 5/10 Track Five Sensitzed This is a another great song off the number I love this this is a banger Firstly the lyrics sound like the a cross between Some Kind of Bliss and Did It Again great lyrics ,” Sensitized by Every Word that You say’’ Boy You got Messed up but I like it that Way’’ “ Tantalized just too good too refuse” “When I try too stop You You keep blowing my fuse’’ this has a 90’s feel too it fabulous such a amazing song a gem from the album which could have been a single 10/10 Track Six Heart Beat Rock this song was a sexy little tune “Ladies in the Spotlight Boys are checking their tights” Skirts out While their hips sway” Bumping too the hot track” People take a step back “ C’mon C’mon C’mon C’mon C’mon “Cause I can Make Your Heartbeat Rock”. I feel this tune it would have been a club hit in the summer of 2008 and 2009 it is so like 2000’s Kylie shows us she still is very much the undisputed Princess of Pop 10/10 Track Seven the One this is the fourth single not a bad song it is very much radio friendly, not highly sexual and it is very much nice the lyrics are uplifting if you feel sad so I will give it 10/10 . Do Buy this album first got it aged fifteen mistakenly gave it away I love Kylie from age 11 looking for some Noughties Memories This is definitely one of her best albums of the 2000’s next too Light Years and Fever . So glad I brought it again
