Q: Is there one of these with usb type a? i have an older macbook pro without usb c.

Unfortunately, the Wireless Charging Dock for AirPods only comes with a USB-C connector but our Type-A to Type-C Adapter Converter (USB-A Male to USB-C Female) will allow you to connect the dock to a powered USB-A port to charge your AirPods. Q: Does it work with Samsung ear buds?

No, it will only work with Apple wireless charging devices.

Q: Do you have to use a case to charge the airpod pros? or can you place them directly on the device?

The AirPod Pros will charge inside the wireless charging case that came with the AirPods.

Q: Can this charge Iphones as well?

Technically it will charge iPhone 8s and newer, but only at 5W slow charging. Also it may not balance well on the side of the computer or iPad without our extension charging cable.
