Decent but Not for Me
The shoulder rest is functional and fits the violin well, but it had a strong, unpleasant odor out of the box. Personally, I found it more comfortable to play without it, but it might suit others depending on preference.

It is not suitable for me.
This shoulder rest has a number of adjustments for width, height, and angle, which are nice features. However, after many attempts to fit it right, I came to the conclusion that it is not suitable for my body and it did not ease placement of the violin on my shoulder or reduced slippage. It could be suitable for others, I cannot tell. I think that part of the problem is that the actual rest is too short and it is not curved vertically to reduce slippage. The build quality is medium. The image does not match the actual product that I received which caused me to buy it again by mistake while trying to find a suitable shoulder rest. I am not returning it because of the hassle involved relative to the price. An instruction sheet should be included to help set it up.
