Finally someone had the stamina to sift through financial services regulation and identify what's relevant for fintech!The book is very well structured, has an excellent overview of who-is-who in the regulatory space and a handy index of regulatory terminology.

It's an excellent book and it is very well-written. A great introduction into financial services and their regulations, not just suitable for Fintech entrepreneurs, but really for everyone starting out in finance. The reference section is especially helpful: it is like a big table of contents for the most important regulations

Coming from a Solution and Enterprise Architect background in the central banking FinTech space this book has been of great value. It's difficult to find reading material explaining this aspect of FinTech entrepreneurial space (which in my case were for understanding aspects needing consideration during openBanking API designs and discussions with central banking clients. You don't have to be in the same space as me, however if you're a startup looking at the FinTech and openBanking APIs space then you will want to read this book to avoid delays in launching due to regulations and requirements that stretch from the product design down to the code implementations and choices of technical architecture. FinTech isn't the same as eCommerce...it has it's own unique technical challenges and requirements that are easily solvable in eCommerce space but require deeper considerations in the FinTech space. So this book I'd recommend not just to entrepreneurs but also to architects and programmers entering this world.
