This Bluetooth Thermometer has a great range. I live in a large Villa and even at the very end of our house, I receive a signal. I also tested accuracy and it is very accurate. Really good product.

Dosent work got a faulty unit. It just displays --- and no temperature.Didn't even work once

At first I thought to myself the bluetooth functionality was simply a gadget to sell this thermometer. I was looking at various models and ended buying this model on sale.It now turns out that the wireless connectivity and App are awesome! Unlike previous reviews I have read, I find the app to be user friendly and glitch free. This thermometer allows to do something else than check my smoker. It is possible to set custom temperature ranges or use the preset temperature according.The magnetic base works really well and the probes are easy to clean.The only thing I wish was different is the type of plastic used for the thermometer casing itself. Don't get me wrong, it is fully functional, but it feels like one of those cheaper plastics.In general, this thermometer is awesome! I have absolutely no regrets!

InkBird reviewI love my new InkBird 150ft Bluetooth Grill Thermometer IBT-6XS. I’ve been grilling and for a long time, use my grill all year round, and started smoking 5 years ago. I love to use my smoker for holidays and family gatherings. Although I've been grilling for years its only in the past 2 or 3 years that I places importance of monitoring the temps of both your cooking chamber and the temps of the meat you’re preparing. It comes down to safety, safety, and safety. Making sure that the food has been cooked to a safe temperature is of utmost importance. The last thing you want is to get someone sick from eating food that was not cooked to a safe temperature.I've Found that thermometers that came with a grill are oftenbe inaccurate and fail over time. The InkBird IBT-6XS is a digital thermometer with 6 wire probes and connects to your phone via Bluetooth. It operates on the InkBird app and all interaction takes place through the app. The receiver attaches to a magnetic mounting base and information from the receiver is sent to your phone via a Bluetooth connection. The receiver has an on/off button and toggles through the temps of the probes that are plugged into it. It’s looks nice, isn't to sophisticated on the tech side, and I love the fact that the numbers are big.Bluetooth- The receiver connects to your phone via Bluetooth as compared to handheld receivers. The reported connectivity range of the InkBird is 150 ft and I was able to monitor temperatures with a fairly strong signal throughout most of my house.The Battery rechargeable battery. They state it will run for up to 60 hours before needing recharging but I haven't tested it out however recharging is easy Just remember to charge it beforehand as the unit will not operate while charging.Probes- The probes are lengthy at about 6 inches so they can get in the way on my small smoker but theyare sturdy. they are reinforced with a clasp where the braided cable attaches to the probe. There are 2 ports on each side of the receiver to plug in your temp probes. Separating the probe ports is a simple feature and it's easy to keep your wires separated when initially setting up your probes for grill. It has a good sized display that toggles through current probe temp readings and all information is relayed through the app. The probes definitely do their primary job, in accurately reading temps and I checked temperatures using my BBQGO Digital food thermometer.App/User interface- The InkBird IBT-6XS App is really great compared to others . Most digital thermometers use a separate wireless display that are limited in their capabilities and the interfaces are aweful. Almost all interaction with the InkBird takes through the app. To connect, simply turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and then open the InkBird app. It automatically connects to the thermometer and displays a readout of current probe temps. It's nice not to have to walk around with a handheld device. The InkBird app with your phone creates a much more pleasant experience with a range of personalization such as notifications for probes. There are preset high/low temp ranges for monitoring different cooking styles and foods. Plus custom settings are saved, so the next time you open the app, you are able to choose one of the preset temps or your custom temps. Just assign a setting to each probe and youSummary- The InkBird IBT-6XS is a very well designed unit, accurately reads temps, and monitors 6 temps at once providing flexibility. The InkBird app allows you to use it in conjunction with the your smartphone. There are a few minor issues (large probes) but overall, the InkBird IBT-6XS is an excellent product whose 6 probes allow for monitoring multiple items at once. I love it and can't wait to test their other products
