Excellent it is good

This is our first book in the Geronimo Stilton series. My 6 year old daughter and I have been reading this nightly, and she is really into the storyline. The book is designed around a series of adventures, so it's pretty easy to find a place to stop when it's bed-time, and the pictures, side stories, and extra activities (mazes, counting exercise, and find the ____ exercises), which are thrown in all over the book, are a fun diversion and add more depth to the storyline.My only struggle with the book, is that often, the text layout and formatting of many pages doesn't line up very well with the flow of the story. For example, frequently, the page ends in the middle of a sentence - forcing a long pause while we flip to the next page (and, usually made worse by the fact that I'm reading in the character's voice). Often, this happens even when there is plenty of space on the page to have completed the sentence. Also, and maybe this is just in my head, it seems that many of these little side stories and extra activities are not always placed in a location in the book that lends itself to a natural pause. This means, now that you've found a break in the paragraph, you need to go back a page (or two) to read more deeply about that item you just missed.There are lots of made up words and variations on fonts (type-faces) that relate to specific words throughout the book. So, the book could be a bit of a challenge for the early readers.My gripe aside, the storyline is well constructed and easy follow for the little ones, and the book is full of colorful pictures that allow the younger (non-reading) listeners to follow along. I'll be buying more of this series.

Nice book

The book was great. The packaging was also nice and delivery was on time. The book pages had the glittered outside edges, scintillating with gold. The glitter may wear off over period of time but the book is what matters. I won't give much spoilers, but I can say it's a great book for kids and geronimo fans and the illustrations are glamorous. Really. I like the book just for it's illustrations, though we bought it for my younger brother, who is 10. So far, I have also read the story and it's quite good, yet, my brother says it's amazing and his favourite so far. We have four kingdom of fantasies book. So, it's worth reading.Thanks amazon ans readers :)

Excellent story I liked this book very much but the problem why I give 4 stars is that in last part of the book the villian( I will not give spoilers) was defeated very easily but in the whole book she was shown so powerful but she lost too easily otherwise the book is epic and interesting to read
