NOT smooth to swallow. I almost had a heart attack swallowing them. It was so weird and unnatural I came here to verify if they were meant to be chewed.... Nope they are meant to be swallowed :(

Is 500 mg of vitamin c safe?

I'm not a doctor, but the body absorbs Vitamin C pretty readily. I have been using the 1,000 mg caplets for many years and have experienced no side affects whatsoever. There is lots of information about Vitamin C consumption on the Internet, but you should also consult your healthcare provider if you are concerned.

Why does it say in one of the customer reviews that this is for 500 mg. Is this not for 100 mg?🤷🏾♂️

I have a medicaid card how do i use when purchasing vitamins

You'd have to ask your primary doctor to send in prescriptions for each supplement you need to your usual drug store. Explain that you cant afford them otherwise, if that's the problem. They should do it for you tho. Then use either your medicaid or insurance card to purchase when your prescription is filled..hope that helps.
