two pieces already damaged not recommended as heavy duty

This product is real heavy duty ID card holder.

I bought a 2 pack. Not long after starting to use the 1st one, the cable came loose. The knot in the end loosened or something and then the cable retracted back into the spring loaded device. I can't get it out to try and re-tie it. So, I started using the 2nd one. Same problem happened with that one. Frustrating.

Feels a lot more heavy duty than I expected. I work with store inventory so I like to have these leashes for my box cutter- I'm very pleased with this item so far.
