I thought the aged 4 pair of shorts I made looked small so checked the sizing. My grandson needed age 8. He is not a large child but a perfect size in all other patterns. I can only think this is a Japanese book for Japanese children who are more dainty. This book will now have limited use. However, the patterns are really nice and simple using the minimum amount of fabric, which I like.

Loved the quick response and delivery. Not for the feint hearted to dicifer the pattern on the front and back of the huge pieces of paper they are printed on. Good quality paper, eco friendly. Quite minimal explanation how to assemble garments, but again, minimal as with a lot of Japanese goods. No nonsense or fuss clothing for both boys and girls in a different range of ages to suit all. The book is high end quality printing, does what is says on the tin! I'd buy again
