Cheap, cheap, cheap quality. Don't buy if the price is above 50$ CAD or else you'll feel ripped.
Hmmm, where should I begin?Ok, first of all, the golden team look really good, stainer paint was applied to it and it gives an ''older'' look. On the other hand, the silver team don't have anything applied on them so it looks like raw metal, if the pieces wouldn't have the same shape I wouldn't know they're from the same set.On the box it says ''heavy metal chessmen'' and it's the reason why I bought it, I wanted metal pieces. The unfortunate thing is that the only pieces that actually feel heavy are the horses, all the others feel closer to what pieces from a big wooden set would feel (in weight).The board look really good, but when you move a piece, you hear the hollowness since it's super thin. Really cheap.I bought this at 85$ CAD, 100$ CAD with taxes. Worth the buy? No. just invest 50$ more bucks on Ebay, there's plenty of set that look much better than this one.

Amazingly beautiful set
This is an absolute amazing set and the value for the product is great.I am unsure why there are so many unhappy reviews but my review is a great reason to not always purchase or not purchase based on good or bad reviews. Try it for yourself and if your not happy, it is easy to return.This set will be sitting on my baby grand piano once my sitting room is renovation complete. Pure elegance!

No Missing Pieces
The set came quickly and without damage.I am very happy with the overall quality.I have uploaded addition photos for everyone's benefit.One thing a little odd was the inlaid wood does not match the pictures, but it's not a deal breaker.They are decent quality metal pieces and nice inlaid wood for the price.**If you have any questions or comments, please reply and I will answer to the best of my ability**
