My little girl learned to read with this series and it has never disappointed. The book "Too many cats" is beautifully and cleverly illustrated, so even if a word is beyond the reader, they can make a good guess by looking at the pictures. This was the very first book she read, and the buzz she got from reading a book "all by herself" was a delight to see. I doubt we will ever give any of the series away!
