Really nice, great design, love the colour facility and the party mode. Puts out a lot of light for it's size and re-charges quickly. Excellent product!

This is a neat little light. I was interested in the solar charging option, so I jumped at it.It has been my go-to "night-light" ever since. I usually turn off the switch lights, and opt for this mini lantern to ease both my eyes and the energy bill (hopefully). See above pictures. I like to read a little before bed, and this is a nice option. Speaking of options, this Biolite has many available; all it takes is holding the button to make the Biolite change colors and brightness.I really like the size of the unit as well, since it fits very easily into pockets. It is also very lightweight so it wouldn't be a problem packing it. The included stand supports it nicely, and also has a hook which you may hang it. I find the stand to be sufficient, but will try the hook when I can. Nightlight, camping, emergency light. You name it, it will work for you.I have had it for about a week, and yet I haven't even had to charge it just yet. It shipped to me, ready to use. I will update in the future, on the charging aspect and any other things I find out.---------Update 5/1/19This light gets nightly use constantly. I charge it about once a month or so, depending how much I use it any given month. I do not charge by solar though since I am no option to leave it outdoors while I'm at work. Very happy with purchase otherwise.

Big fan of BioLite products. Just switched to this from the BioLite Powerlight Mini due to the solar charging ability. Though I like the slightly slimmer profile of the Powerlight Mini, having the solar panel on back really makes this the only light to have with you wherever you go. Which I do. Button depressing seems to be a bit more consistent and easier than the other light I've used and it's held up great to being tossed in bags and packs all the time. The ability to switch colors has actually come in handy for mood lighting more often than I would have thought. Super pleased with this new offering.

Didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I do. But what a lovely little light this had been. You CAN charge it fully in direct sunlight but for me that took a couple days of leaving it on the window. The size is perfect and the amount of light is great. Haven't found a reason to use the colored light aspect of it yet but it's nice to know you can. It's very light and well made.

Loved it on my camping trip 2 days ago. Was so nice to have the option of red light, so that you can see without being totally blinded by the regular light, and let your friend’s sleep without being disturbed. It charges fast in sunlight and the sundial was genius. It’s even fun just to have at home and watch the pretty color changes during party mode

I bought these for my hurricane preparedness box. I wanted something that didn't need battery replacement constantly as my other lanterns are also solar.In short - THESE LIGHTS ARE AWESOME! They fill a room with working light, I've used them when working on the grill and smoker, I've taken them on regular camping trips and hikes. I have had them at bellow freezing temps and they took it. I just can't say enough good things about them!The Flash! When these charge, they emit a bright flash every few minutes or so - so you know they are collecting light. That feature alone is a great piece of mind, letting you know that you will have light that night.Next test: spring/summer fishing - I know they will work, I want to see whether they will draw a bunch of bugs or not...
