On the Night You Were Born

I didn't know this was a religious book (Psalm at the beginning and it ends with a mention of heaven). It's a sweet book, but not right for our family.

It's ok. I feel the reviews hyped this book up way too much. As someone who's a marshmallow (cries easy) this book didn't bring any tears at all. The pictures are nice in a like a doctors office painting kinda way. (it's beautiful don't get me wrong but not exactly my style with the hidden baby faces in the sky/moon like the teletubbies). I dunno I feel let down after reading all the reviews. My sons turning one and enjoys flipping the thick pages but that's about it. It's a good book for the price.

Love everything about this book! The story and the pictures. I read it to my baby girl every night before bed and she never gets tired of it. It's so cute. Definitely gonna be tough finding another one just as good to read to her.

I was so excited to read this book to my baby only to find that there’s not much story to it. I found it lacking. There’s writing on one page accompanied by a random illustration (a frog playing music..?) that seems completely unrelated to the story and though the neighboring page has a beautiful illustration, it also has a very creepy moon with a face in each corner. The words, though they be few, are sweet but the moon is very off putting. I do not recommend this book. 2 stars only for the illustrations. I would return it but I’m afraid where I’m at I’ll have to pay return shipping so I guess I’ll just keep it. I’ll update review with pictures of said moon.

Love this book. Great baby gift. Use it instead of a card. Such a sweet story about them being perfect. The world was waiting just for them. Sometimes i buy the larger book too not the board book. I always buy an extra in case i cant find it when i need a baby gift.
