Coleman Instant Camping Tent - 6 Person

I know this is quite expensive, but honestly it’s 100% worth it. I’m new to camping in the desert and didn’t want to get a tent which took a million years to assemble, thus tent is GREAT! My husband and I watched a Coleman YouTube video on how to put it up and take it down and it was so simple and only took a couple of minutes. Brilliant! The tent is strong and spacious and excellent quality. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. Although we bought the 8 man tent, there’s only two of us, and I’m so happy to have the extra space inside the tent. My husband is 6ft 4 and he can properly stand up and walk about inside the tent! Honestly, it’s great!

There is a torn hole on the floor when we set up in the desert. And a unstitching edge along the jointing edge. Please advise how to handle.

I have invested a lot into various Coleman camping products to go camping in the desert around Dubai. Unfortunately my family sized Coleman Instant 8 man tent has only lasted two years. It seems that the glue they have used might be watertight and good for European or US rainy trips but just melts in the hot UAE summers. I recently got the tent out to go camping after it has been stored for the past few months during the summer heat and all the seams have come apart and the tent is no longer useable.

I bought the 8 person tent less than a year ago.. everything was fine until I was camping two weeks ago and it rained.. all the weather sealing around the zippers fell off and found out how unwaterproof it is. Additionally it doesn't stand up straight anymore and heavily twisted and cannot find out where is the issue

If you can get it under 17k, just go for it. its easy to set up, it took me 4 mins to set it up It comes with a partition cover in the box , the tent was very spacious only issue with this tent is it's not easy to put back the tent into the bag and zip it . If you want to use this in heavy rain better try to get the rain fly which it was hard to find for 8 person tent in india or get some water proof spray for fabric and spray a coat of it on the stitches of the tent .

Its easy to quick setup, & big tent but not water or rain resistance. It cant event take the dew drops. Did not expect this type of quality from Coleman.

Quick setup and packup. Even one person can setup and pack this tent. But putting in its back is difficult. Setting up is easy, quick. Worth it bellow 17k. May not stand in Windy area, didn’t tried it yet. It’s packed size is quite big and heavy. But fits in my Maruti Dzire’s boot space easily.
