What point is this pen? Extra Fine, fine, medium...?

They don't usually give a size, but based on industry standard, we would call this line width 'medium'. Unfortunately, with these gel refills this is a one-size-fits-all.

How to remove the detachable cap? I put it on and now can't seem to pull it off. Help pls

I've owned two of these pens and the cap is always very tight. Hold onto the keyring and just pull hard until it pops off. I don't know why they make the cap so tight.

Do the sheaffer refills fit the ion?

No. Special ION refills the same as used by the Cross Ion.
