Great unit for the price. The first one I bought 2 years ago was a bit noisy but still works fine. I needed more width so I added the second next to the older one. The new one is whisper quiet and my tests show the air is completely clean.

Reasonable enough FFU for sterile work. Turbulent area is 6-10 inches on each side so the working zone is fairly small.

Received my package really quick, and had a hard time because of literally no instructions. I went to turn it on and it completely would not work. Then I went to try to contact the seller, and there wasn't a way to do so. Would not recommend.

Since I’ve had the hood I have experienced 0 contamination. The filter is thick and certainly laminar flow. It probably wouldn’t be as effective in the long term as a 12 inch filter. But for how easy it is to move around and price I think it’s perfect. High mode is somewhat loud, but obviously a blower is gonna make noise? so I don’t see how people are complaining about that. Great product!

Unit arrived with missing, loose, and stripped nuts and screws. I replaced missing motor mount bolts. Capacitor screw was stripped and wiring harness was strapped to sharp edge on frame. Blower wheel is poorly balanced with a lot of vibration.

I received my unit w bent filter blades. Tried to reach out to the seller multiple times but they've never responded. If u can get a fan that's in good condition it's worth the money but don't expect them to get back w u if it's damaged

Unit is damaged and had a hole punched in the filter front. The switch in the back was not installed properly I had to open the unit and found metal shaving all over the interior. Switch failed after a month and the knob fell off. Save your money and put a better product!
