Jerdon MC339N 5.5-Inch Folding Travel Mirror with 7x Magnification and Velveteen Storage Pouch, Nickel Finish

I really like this travel mirror. It folds and unfolds easily, but has enough resistance and "hold" to keep it in whatever position you choose. The magnifying side is great for doing close-up makeup application, and the regular side helps you see the back of your hair in the wall mirror. It's very convenient to be able to place it on a bathroom counter, shelf or table to let you see at just the right height. It comes in a nice drawstring travel bag, as well. Since I'm concerned about breakage, I also kept the outer box and used it when packing the mirror in my carry-on. This is a quality mirror that I plan to use for a long time.

This mirror has been invaluable to me and I am so glad I found it! I travel a lot and was having a terrible time finding a large enough mirror so I could see my face with a strong enough magnification. The mirror I use at home that's mounted to the wall is a 7X magnification so I was thrilled to find the equal strength in a mirror that could travel. I had initially tried mirrors that lit up, but the lights on those were never right for me. They were either too bright or not bright enough. Plus the mirrors with lights are typically very bulky and don't travel well.I continued my search and came across this mirror with no light, and due to it's great ease of packing to travel I decided to try it and purchase a separate clip on light for times where I needed it. That system has worked very well for me. Another issue I had was I really wanted the mirror at eye level while standing in hotel bathrooms that have no seated area with good light. So I began taking a tripod with me and I clip this mirror onto that and voila, legs! Due to the open nature of the base of this it's very versatile in what you can do with it when you're determined!I wish the size of this mirror was maybe an inch or two larger, but I am definitely willing to work with it given that everything else I've tried to do with it has worked. It folds up flat to pack in my bag. I place a small piece of cardboard between the mirror and the "leg" of it because they touch when it's folded. The cardboard came with the packing materials, so I didn't even have to cut my own.I am very pleased with this mirror, and for what I've put it through thus far not one single thing has gone wrong with it or broken. It's a very well made product and I highly recommend it.

It's exactly what I wanted, and the picture is pretty accurate. The pouch is nice for traveling options. The only thing that would have made this a 5-star product is a thick pouch. It's nice and handy, but it is very thin. I still wrap the mirror in a towel before I put it in the pouch just in case. Other than that, the product is worth the price.

I'm in my 50's and I don't need reading glasses yet, but I do need a good mirror to tweeze my eyebrows. This mirror is perfect with its 7x magnification - very comfortable to use without needed glasses to see the hairs. I love that I can put it away in a drawer when not in use. I put a piece of soft shammy cloth between the mirror and the part that touches it when folded -no problem. Comes with a nice little carrying bag. Very good quality, heavy mirror. Easily adjustable. Nice reflection, not distorted at all. Swivels easily from normal to magnifying side. I would recommend it.

This is a great mirror--for my desk. It is heavy and, even folded, it's bulky. I like the mirror; it's very sturdy and completely adjustable. Just not a good fit for my travel.

I love this thing. The 2 elbows adds great versatility in the height and closeness of the mirror, and the standard swivel allows you to easily adjust the angle or switch the faces of the mirror. It's small enough to leave on my desk or stow away in my drawer, while the magnification still allows you to see clearly. I'd reconsider traveling with this though, unless you pack it carefully with something between the face of the mirror and the folding elbow joint that the mirror will be touching when folded. And probably pack it in a way that minimal weight is on the mirror so the mirror won't break/crack from the hard metal joints.

It is too heavy to qualify as a 'travel mirror', and it is also unstable. The other major drawback is that the mirror hits metal when you fold it.

the mirror itself is great and I would really like this except for two things. The stand broke off within the first few weeks. Also the stand was very heavy, adding a lot of weight for a travel mirror.

Excelente tamanio y manipulación. El espejo es de muy buena calidad y sin embargo conservar un peso más que razonable. Viene con una bolsa que aunque no es acolchada, sí te permite ponerlo entre tu ropa para viajar y seguir teniendo la posibilidad de maquillarte bien. Tardó un poco en llegar, pero valió la pena la espera. Precio/calidad, excelentes!

Love this mirror that looks good and folds up beautifully. Will take on my European holiday.

compré esto para mi madre, ya que el gato rompió el suyo. Ahora estoy pensando romperlo yo, porque no sé como apartarla de ahí. buen producto, muy ligero y de tamaño aceptable
