Andalou Natural Purple Carrot + C Luminous Night Cream, Purple Carrot Plus C Luminous, 1.7 Ounce

My skin is horribly dry and is prone to flaking and redness. I've used several highly recommended moisturizers with little improvement. I decided to try Andalou Naturals Purple Carrot night cream after reading the reviews. After a few days of using it (AM and PM) I noticed a huge reduction in dryness. After 2 weeks my skin is soft, the redness is toned down and is much brighter. I now only use it at night. The cream is light and non greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves your face with a somewhat dewy glow...not shiney per say. Since it is so light you can get away with using it morning and night. The scent is light and pleasant. Will continue to purchase and use.

Beautiful smell deep moisturizer great product

I discovered Andalou Naturals products approximately 10 years ago. I always want as natural as possible, effective skin care products that are not outrageously expensive and this product line fits that. I have tried different face creams from them and feel some work better for me than others, but I love this one and use it day and night. For day I let it soak in a few minutes before adding next layer which is usually a tinted mineral sunscreen. And night use it’s usually the last layer. It doesn’t leave me greasy but does provide good moisture. I have seen it sold for various prices over the years from $10-ish to $23-ish. I don’t understand the large variation. So I was happy to find it for $12-ish here.

I absolutely love this brand. I think the quality far exceeds the price in most cases. This is my first time trying any of the moisturizers but I gave the 1000 Roses night cream to my mom and she likes it. She loves anything rose. I love that they don’t use added artificial fragrance. The fragrance you detect is just from plant derived things. This one does kind of have a light candy-like smell as another reviewer said. Not overpowering. Beautiful light purple color which was unexpected. I guess from the purple carrot. The texture for me is alright. I’ve had moisturizers that make me go “wow.” But in many cases that’s a dead giveaway of silicones in a formula which I try to avoid because they suffocate the skin. It’s almost whipped. It has a pretty good oil content to it which you’d think would make it spread pretty well. I sprayed a hydrating mist on prior as well but found it skip a little when applying. Now that it’s on my face, neck, chest it feels pretty alright. It actually feels light even though I layered with the Andalou enlighten serum which has oils in it, as well as an antioxidant hyaluronic serum and then put an argan oil serum on top of all of that. Could be my skin is just dry after the peel I had the other day? This may not be right for someone who is super dry. This will be great for combo skin and for the warmer months. ☺️

I have extremely dry skin and have loads of issues with acne scars caused by hyper pigmentation. I’ve tried various night face creams that I’ve purchased from amazon all without much of an impact. I decided to give this cream a try on a whim and I noticed a difference IMMEDIATELY. My skin instantly felt hydrated and refreshed. I’ve only been using the product for about a week now and it already looks like my complexion has gotten brighter. This stuff is the real deal. Also the cream so rich and pleasantly scent. I’m not usually a fan of scented products on my face but this one is just subtle enough for me to appreciate it but not overwhelm me. I also strive to only purchase cruelty free and sustainably produced products (not an easy task!) and this one fits the bill. I highly recommend this product! I should also mention that I don’t usually review products but this one impressed me enough I felt like I had say something about it. Thank you Andalou Naturals!

I love this product I got it because it was a great sale and it really moisturizes my face I highly recommend this line of natural skin care I'm elderly and it works good and they have even more more stressing line the purple one

I love this brand and give his product 3 stars for that reason—it’s not you, it’s me is the verdict in this product break-up. I absolutely adore the vitamin C probiotic day cream in the same line so thought I would give the night cream a try, thinking it might give my combo/dry winter skin a moisture boost. BUT, I learned don’t mess with success and I’m back to the probiotic cream day and night. For some reason this one clogged my pores and irritated my skin, especially my psoriasis-prone hairline. So by all means, if you’re not acne or psoriasis prone give it a try, the feeling is dense and creamy and obviously the ingredients are very good and nourishing. Just didn’t work out with my particular issues. If you’ve found the same to be true don’t give up on Andalou, just try another product!

This cream smells and feels so luxurious that I wish I could fill my whole bathtub with it and jump in! This is my new favorite night cream, and I hope they never change the formula (like they have with a few of their other products).
