I remodel homes for individuals with physical disabilities and have installed this product multiple times. I do like it because it's affordable and works well as long as the leg is down and in a straight position. When installing it I would recommend opening up the wall and always putting solid blocking behind the wall. I believe it needs a support arm or a 90° bracket that holds the leg in place at all times. That way it cannot kick out or back toward the wall and make all the weight rely on the wall rather than the leg. Also another modification that could be done to make this a better product would be putting a mounting bracket where the bottom arm comes in contact with the wall bracket so that it cannot twist and kick the support leg right or left when it is in the fold-down position.

This toilet grab bar was easy to install and the vertical post makes it very sturdy to use. I only gave it 4 out 5 stars because it won't stay stowed up in its fold-away position. I've had to use a wall hook and rubber band to keep the bar folded up and stowed away.UPDATE: I'm changing my rating up to 5 stars for 2 reasons; 1) the toilet grab bar won't stay up in its stowed position because of the fault of my old bathroom walls being made of plaster and isn't straight (not the fault of the toilet grab bar), and 2) the lower of the 2 bars can conveniently be used as a toilet paper roll holder when the toilet grab bar is in its down position (see photo).

Fits perfectly next to the footed tub. Not much room in our bathroom, so it's perfect for the space we have. My spouse has limited mobility and now he can get into the tub better! And safer!

I ordered two MYOYAY Toilet grab bars at a discounted price. Description indicted a cosmetic imperfection on front top and sides but would be in original packaging. There were no instructions provided in either package. There are no appear to cosmetic imperfections; however, one bar is about an inch shorter than the other one.

There were no assembly instructions or screws included. The box was poorly put together and badly mangled when I received it.

Item installed easily and functions as specified.
