Saved me hundreds
Upon waking up one morning and finding my refrigerator not cooling I quickly jumped on google to find the solution. Going down the rabbit hole I ran into this product. I decided to try it because it was a few dollars and hopefully it would fix my problem. As soon as I installed it my refrigerator began cooling again!!! I was so happy that I didn’t have to buy a new refrigerator! It was so easy to install also.

Whirlpool fridge fixed
7 year old Whirlpool french door fridge had frost building up on back wall inside freezer, was running non stop and fridge temp was 60 degrees. After running a forced defrost mode diag I read online, it was determined that the Jazz Board wasn't the problem since it wouldn't manually defrost. Opened the the back freezer panel and found it extremely built up with frost and the defrost thermostat inside a block of ice the size of my first. Probed the wires on the thermostat and there was no continuity, which it should have since it was inside an iceberg. Spend a hour with a blow dryer defrosting the freezer and ordered this part. Fridge and freezer resumed working fine again and I got this part a couple days later and installed to get the auto defrost working. Fridge hasn't worked this good since new. Set to 5 and 5 for the temp and freezer is running around 0 degrees and fridge 38 degrees. $8 part saved me from buying a new $1500 fridge! FYI I installed using crimp connectors and heat shrink.If you look at my last photo you can see water droplets from it performing the defrost cycleUpdate: 10 days after install. Fridge was running non-stop and was only getting to 60 degrees. Now it's cycling and defrosting as it should and I need to adjust the temp again because it's getting too cold!

Fixed My Issue
Easy to install and fixed my issue of freezing.

Great value
This part fixed the problem where my fridge was warm while the freezer was cold. After removing the inside back panel of the freezer, saw lots of ice on the coils and particularly around the defrost thermostat. Also, service test mode (see youtube) indicated a problem with defrost thermostat and the defrost circuit. The defrost thermostat had gone bad and no longer closed at cold temperatures. The new thermostat restored the fridge to full functionality.

Make sure you purchase the right solution.
Purchased to fix a problem. Did not fix the problem because it was another problem. I'm sure it will fix the problem that I thought it would fix, but wasn't a problem.
