Shoulder Arm Sling Support Brace

This was a lifesaver for my husband when he broke his humerus. It's comfortable, fully adjustable and kept his arm locked in place so that painful movement was limited. We had to wait three months before he could get his surgery, so we ended up getting him another one with two shoulder straps to distribute the weight more evenly as his shoulder got quite out of whack.

When my mom broke her arm she complained that the regular sling put too much pressure on the neck. I purchase a few alternatives off the internet. This one has support at the waist, but she preferred another one which had velcro at the waist over this one. See how the strap still goes over the shoulder? She didn't like that. The other one cost twice as much, though. Plus, check waist size before purchasing since that is critical in order to use the sling for support at the waist.

Worked very well holding arm in position and was comfortable around the neck. The strap laid better on your shoulder and across your shoulder blades instead of pushing on your neck. However, it was very hot and hair stuck to it cery badly.

Bought this for my 96 yr old grandma who fell and broke her arm near the shoulder. It's very comfortable and versatile. The Doctor and staff all complimented and inquired about it at her orthopedic appointments. They had never seen one like it. Very well made, like a thick padded felt and is very sturdy, It's soft and has no rough edges inside or out, The seems inside the standard ones were chaffing my grandmothers elbow and forearm. It's 100% washable. I highly recommend this product as a superior option.
