Size:20 x 45-ft. Pool | Color:01 - Super The Robelle Super Winter Pool Cover is a heavy-duty solid winter pool cover. Solid pool covers do not allow water to pass through their material. The Robelle Super Winter Pool Cover features a heavy-duty 8 x 8 scrim. The heavy-duty polyethylene material used for this cover weighs 2.36 oz./yd2. Both the scrim count and material weight are the best indicators of the strength and durability for your pool cover. This is a heavy-duty pool cover designed to protect your pool from the winter elements. The Robelle Super Winter Pool Cover features an imperial blue topside and a black underside. Please order by your pool size, as the overlap goes beyond the pool size listed. This cover includes a five-foot overlap. Please order a larger size cover if you have steps (or any other irregularity) protruding from your pool. Water tube loops are placed around the perimeter of the pool cover. Water tubes sold separately. Only water tubes should be used to install this pool cover. No other method of installation is recommended. This cover should be able to comfortably float on the pool water without excessive stress. This cover is not meant to be used as a debris cover during the swimming season. This winter pool cover is intended to be used during the off-season. Includes a ten year warranty.

Great cover
FINAL UPDATE 11/15/2018: We sold the house with the pool. Hope the new owners enjoy this cover for a few more years.Update 6/12/2018: Just cleaned up the cover after winter. The cover stayed on November-May and once again, the pool was a pretty blue when we took it over. It has a couple of very very small holes in it here and there but otherwise in good condition. It has more black spots on it than last year and they won’t wash off this year. Added a new picture below before I washed it. I’m not confident it will last another year before the holes get too big.Update 11/6/2017: So far, so good! The pool was perfectly blue when we took the cover off. We put it back on yesterday. There are a couple of black spots from leaves, but no holes. We used the PVC pipes again and I would recommend that to anybody.Original review:This has been a good pool cover so far. Had it on the pool from November-April. Pool is clean after taking it off and it still feels just as heavy, not brittle or faded. I ended up taking PVC pipes, filling them with sand, and looping it through the loops on the cover. Worked like a charm, super cheap, and it should last it for a while. I will update each year.

SEAMS COME UNGLUED after First Use
Unfortunately the Robelle 511632R Ultimate Cover is falling apart after just one use. The cover isconstructed of three individual swatches of material "seam welded" length-ways. The so called "welded"seams are failing in multiple places with large openings you can run your hand through. Ultimately (no pun intended)the failed seams will grow with further use. The warranty is useless so you're stuck with a defective product.I recommend against buying this pool cover.

sand and dirty water from the surface for such a long time
I was quite skeptical when buying this. I was sure it keeps the pool water cleaner, blocking leaves and mid size objects. I was not sure it can keep it clean from the dust, sand and dirty water from the surface for such a long time.I did not purchase the water filled mattresses and fittings, I just used reinforced wooden planks. When I opened my pool in the summer I was really surprised seeing my water crystal clean after 7 months. The cover has no damage, no leakage and it does an outstanding job!!!just make sure you make a chlorine shock and put some anti algae as per advise from professionals and then close your pool with the cover.excellent product!

Useless after ONE Season!
I mistakenly thought I was buying a product engineered specifically for pools. You know - with layered plastics, specially formulated materials, and whatever. NOT!It's just a heavy-duty tarp.Started out excited when it arrived. Looked good. Great fit. Seemed durable. BUT THEN over the course of 6 dry months, I observed pool salt laying on top and a little standing water along the edges. Not happy. Then, I revisited the order picture and noticed it is depicted as not ever touching the water. How the heck did they manage that? This thing is HEAVY and has no metal eyelets to attach spring anchors - just a few flimsy straps which tear if you put even a little stress on them.We live in Thailand where the dry season sees maybe 2-3 days of light rain over 5-6 months. I bought this for anti-evaporation and dust/debris protection. Worked great, at first. Pool water and chemistry remained almost perfect all the time. We (2 people) carefully "open the pool" (6m x 12m) by folding it in half 4 times. Takes <5 minutes to remove or cover. We're always very careful not to drag it or cause undue friction. Far, far better than a ridiculously expensive auto-cover [which, by the way, would likely dump accumulated debris right into the water when opening!]. We opened/closed the pool 3-4 days per week. So, not too much movement - and keep in mind, the water seepage is uniform, but mostly along the water edge, not the folds. So, I'm thinking this cover can't withstand (perfect) pool chemistry. Perhaps the chemistry is breaking down the liner integrity. Our saltwater pump cycles overnight when it's cooler and when electricity price is cheapest. So, the water movement may also be playing a role. Still, I call b/s on the depiction of the material never touching the water.Instead of ice packs, we use lengths of 2" PVC capped and packed with sand as edge weights. Easy to roll on and off.Durability has been terrible. I expected to get at least half the 10 year warranty. I got just 1 season! After rainy season, we put it back on, but water seeped right through the cover making it a huge chore to take off again. It is now useless as a pool cover. We folded it up and put it into the garage until the day we need a heavy tarp.Warning: Don't buy if you need it more than 1 season! We have decided to not use a cover at all. Better to go ahead and deal with water evaporation and manage pool chemistry.

Very disappointed product not as advertised
I was disappointed when I received my pool cover. I ordered the exact same cover in 2016, which was advertised to have a 15 year warranty. Only this year, four years later in the fine print you have to send the warranty information in within thirty days. I was in the hospital at the time my family bought the cover so no one was thinking about this, because many warranties do not have to be sent in. The products are just covered. Long story short 2016 cover started to split at the seams. I thought I would order another one because it had the grommets around the whole edge of the cover. Anyways, when it arrived there were only grommets on the four corners. I had used the same product number and ordered the same color you would think that I would have gotten the same product. Product not as advertised, or they changed the product specifications and just slapped the old product number on it. Very sneaky! Also, if you did use the warranty on it you really would not be saving much because you have to pay for shipping and of course there is the depreciation.

Watch your measurements
This cover measures 21' x 37' exactly. This cover is meant for in-ground pools where you do not have to lower the water level below the jets for the winter. The size is misleading. It is a pool cover for a 16' x 32' foot pool that sits on the surface of the water, it is too small for a 16' x 32' pool if you need to lower the water level for winter. Good quality pool cover though at a really reasonable price. Had to return because it was too short for my 16' x 32' in-ground pool.

Quite flimsy!
Although it’s supposed to be a pool cover is is very flimsy. The only thing going for it is the price but I will have to be very careful about using it. The previous one has lasted 40 years, I don’t believe this one will last. The previous one was 229.00 40 years ago. You only get what you pay for.

Works, but a little small, price is good. Is pretty much as advertised.
Found it a little small. I have a 16 x 32 foot pool. The tarp covers it, but there is only about 18" inches or less overlap on the ground Once I drain some water from my pool, to get below the skimmer, the tarp drops down a couple of feet which eats up the overlap on the ground. If I didn't have to drain it so much it would be ample. With the loops the tarp will fit but the overlap is a little close to the edge for my liking. It works, and the price is good.
