Surgery recovery suit
Great product! I did not buy it to protect against shedding, I purchased because my fur baby had surgery to remove two tumors. Very large incisions. Day 3 and my boy wants to lick through all the stitches. The cone/donut is not comfortable for him. I received this product after some delay and size guessing. But it’s going to be a good solution. We live in St. George, Utah. Southern part of the state. Right now we are 95 degrees this suit is light weight and allows him to be cool, relieve himself without fuss, protects his wounds, and allows him to be comfortable while he heals!! I probably should have gone down one size, but was not sure what to expect. Again, great product! Will buy again!

Fabric is nice but it runs small in the arms and big in the body
This really was not tailored with a dog's body in mind. Maybe the general idea, "heres a torso, now sew some legs into it" but thats about all, and it shows. The front legs armpits are too snug, not fitted well for the dog's body shape. The hind legs are too large, also not fitted well. My boy, deapite buying the "sport" version, refused to potty in it outside. Seemed to not realize or understand that he could pee with it on. And in general he absolutely hated it. I bought him some of those sleeveless varieties and he likes those much much more. In this one he sorta flops over and pouts. Just laying there as if I've put him in a straight jacket-- and no, I didn't. The size i bought was at least 1, if not two, sizes too large. And no, going smaller won't make it fit better. Because for all the sections that it was too baggy in, it was still cripplingly too snug in the armpits. That's not gonna change by downsizing. Really a shame. I had high hopes. The material is nice. The zipper convenient. Would be better to run it along the top. The turtleneck is better than other varieties, and the entirely open crotch is great. But the arms are so poorly designed it just ruins the product completely. The $18 chinese brands that make you cut out the dick hole are vastly superior.

I Am a Shadow Warrior Princess, and Also I Don’t Shed on Your Couch Anymore
Hello. I’m Luna. A majestic black lab. A graceful hunter of tennis balls. A connoisseur of socks. And now? A fashion icon.My human bought me the Shed Defender Sport Onesie because, apparently, “shedding is not a personality trait.” Rude. But fine—I’ll admit I was leaving enough fur around the house to knit another me. Maybe two of me if it was shedding season and I was feeling generous. At first, when she pulled out the onesie, I thought, “Absolutely not. This is some weird dog cosplay, and I have standards.” But then she wrestled me into it—with snacks, I might add—and I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.Y’all. I looked fierce. Like a sleek, four-legged panther with a side gig in elite squirrel surveillance. If Catwoman were a lab, it’d be me.The fabric? Soft and stretchy. It hugs all the right curves, which, let’s be honest, I’ve been working on with my daily zoomies. It keeps all my fur inside, which apparently makes the humans happy, and I’ve overheard them saying things like “This is a miracle” and “We can sit on the couch again without looking like we hugged a tumbleweed.”Unexpected bonus: I now get even more attention at the dog park. Everyone’s like, “Oh my gosh, is she in a little tracksuit?” And I’m like, “Yes, Sharon. I am in a tracksuit. Jealous?”Pros:• Controls my glorious fluff like a containment field• Makes me look like a crime-fighting secret agent• Gets me compliments (and snacks) everywhere I go• Washable. Which is good, because I am a mud enthusiastCons:• Requires a wrestling match to get on (but I secretly love the drama)• No cape. Missed opportunity, honestlyFinal Rating:12/10. I look amazing. My humans are less hairy. My fur stays where it belongs—on me. And yes, I will be wearing this to Thanksgiving dinner.

Functional but rips easily. Tight on shoulders.
Great for shedding and is cool and comfortable but rips super easy. I use this for my service dog in certain situations and its ripped a few times and I've had to patch it up. You're ave to be careful with sizing because the elbows aren't designed well so there's not a ton of mobility. If its too fitted they can't fully extend their front legs. I ended up going up a size and altering it myself. My golden is 65lbs and I got an XL (even though a L is recomended) for shoulder room and altered the rest of it to take in any loose fabric. I personaly think they are kinda expensive for what they are. I do love it at the same time though and the company itself isn't too shabby.

Good for skin allergies. Bad for tall, thin dogs
I rescued a rough collie who was suffering from a severe allergic reaction to fleas. We finally got the fleas under control and now we use this to help his skin heal. I usually put it on him after applying antiseptic treatment so he doesn't lick it all off. The only problem is the shirt is not made for tall thin dogs. Finley has really long legs and a deep chest so this shirt pulls funny in that area. We can't leave it one for more than 30 minutes or he starts to get distressed. But it serves it's purpose for a temporary cover while his medicine soaks in. Most of his fur had fallen out with his allergy. I can't imagine how this would ever work on a full-blown collie coat as a shed defender. But to keep from licking his legs and stomach it's perfect
