Kitchen Essentials 1.25 Qt. Canister - Clear w/White Lid

Really good storage containers with lids that are secure. The 1-1/4 qt size will accommodate most of the packaging of grains from Bob's Red Mill and it is possible to scoop out a 1/4 or 1/3 cup measure but for flours and sugar, I use a larger container so I can scoop out the 1/2 and 1 cup measures that are more commonly needed for those products..To assure that the products get returned to the proper location in the kitchen, I get green lids for the cereals to be made into hot cereal that are stored with the cold cerals, blue lids for the products that I store in the refrigerator, and white or silver lids for legumes and other products.

Nuts and dried fruits fit in nicely. I line the many containers I have in a kitchen cabinet. They look great. I use the different color lids to identify nuts, dried fruits, seeds, Bob's Mill products etc.

This is my second review of this brand because I keep going back to get more containers. Sides are see-thru and the lid provides an air-tight seal. I now own over a dozen of these containers and use them every day.

A little smaller than I thought but I love this product. It seems to be the same quality of the ones I bought almost 20 years ago.

Use this all the time for my pasta and it works great

I am really disappointed. I have had this unit for a little over a year and one of the lid sealers broke. Now there isn't a seal so my brown sugar will get hard.

Great way to organize

For the amount of money they are asking for this it should be covered in gold... LOLSeriously, it is a good airtight container but I won't be buying any more unless the price drops, I just don't feel they are worth it. 1.25 quart is really not very big. I got it because it says it is BPA free but to buy a lot of pieces would cost a fortune so I will stick with glass for now.

Love the satisfying click when you know the container is closed.

Not easy to find in Canada.
