Build "feel" is on the lighter, more delicate side. That is not to it feels like trash, just that it doesnt have incredible build quality. That being said, it does just sit in the same spot and never moves, so it is adequate for the intended purpose. As for performance, it performs its job and does it well. I dont hear any distortion or interference regardless of volume and bass setting. There was also no need to adjust delay. I have used this product for over 6 weeks at time of review. For the price, i am satisfied with this product.

I didn't actually need another DAC. I have a much more expensive DAC with headphone out, but at $24 I couldn't resist and the input Optical 24 bit/192 kHz works perfectly with the output of the Wiim Mini so I picked it up to compare. Well, it exceeded my expectations. It works great with 2 of my headphones (one a Sennheiser 599 SE). I am extremely impressed. I can now use Amazon Music unlimited at high resolution digital audio through the Wiim and the highest bit rate goes into this DAC and sounds great. Most of Amazon Music isn't much more than CD quality (16 bit/44 kHz), but a few songs goes all the way to 24 bit/192 kHz and it works with this with the Wiim and this DAC. Whether you can actually hear it is debatable, but it's there.

Bought this because it uses USB power. Works totally fine for the most part. Volume has great range, bass control is simply being able to lower the amount (maxing the knob, which is where i keep it, just gives you the "default" amount of bass), and both 3.5mm and RCA output work the same.Only issues I have are the the volume knob and RCA output. Like my title says, despite the RCA outputs being marked L - R with white and red respectively, it's actually Right (white) - Left (red). Annoying, certainly, but otherwise doesn't affect performance.As for the volume knob, it's quite uncomfortable to hold. It's all metallic and quite rough. I would much rather have a plastic knob there, or a non-textured metallic one. Just make it one round piece.

My TV broke after one too many power surges, so I upgraded to an awesome Sony X85K. Was disappointed when my expensive Bose speakers wouldn’t work on the new TV as it wouldn’t take the analog headphone jack. Then I discovered this converter that totally fixed my problem. Took 2 seconds to setup and works perfectly. The only negative thing was at first I was noticing an echo going on with the TV speakers and the Bose Speakers playing audio out of sync with each other, but after 5 minutes of tweaking the TV settings I fixed the issue, basically just turned off the TV speakers. Now I have awesome base & sound just coming out of the Bose system. Build quality on this adapter is very high grade, looks good next to all my new toys!

Does what it's supposed to do

Works fine once I could get the plug to catch both channels. The output jack for headphones was always lose and would most easily send only the left channel, or mono (just left to both sides), if anything. One day after almost two months of use, I removed my headphones to use with another device and that was enough to pull the component apart from the circuit board. I've opened it up and the solder has separated from the board. I never got it working again. The sound quality was decent when it worked but the cheap manufacturing here doesn't last, and was fussy to begin with, it simply isn't worth the risk.

It does what it says it does works great I am very pleased. PS not too happy with the shipping price but oh well. If you can find it somewhere else without the shipping prize, might be the best way to go

The converter was working for a pre installation test on an apple airport extreme on the driver side but refused to work on the later installation. tested different AEs and different optical conductor. (could not test coax. (5V is present and indicated).But successless …. doesn’t work anymore.No recommendations !

Ce petit DAC est vraiment excellent, le contrôle de volume est un atout important pour amplifier le signal avant d'entrée dans l'amplificateur, ainsi tu est pas obligé d'augmenter le volume de l'amplificateur trop haut. Le contrôle des bass et très pertinent aussi ça donne plus de punch au son dans les basses fréquences. Bref je suis hautement satisfait de mon achat.

「ブルーレイDVD再生機器をPCモニターで鑑賞し、音声をヘッドホンで聞きたい。」それが目標でした。音響機器に詳しくなく、coaxialが意味不明でしたが、調べていくうちに、この機器に巡り合えました。そして、待望のヘッドホンに繋げて音声を聞くことが可能となったのです。しかも音量やBASSの設定もできるなんて夢のようです。最初にしては上出来です。購入して良かったです。

電源は別ですが、DAC付きヘッドホンアンプとしては、性能的に文句無いと思います。バスコントロール付きですので、ヘッドホンアンプとして、特性に合わせて調整して楽しめます。
