Heavy but should work
Heavy Duty … and just heavy - more than it needs to be. Haven’t fully rigged yet so don’t know if the rods will line up with the matte box - I’m hoping . One of the screws was too long to add based on the design of the plate so I had to get another screw elswhere .

Excellent.
This is a LARGE sturdy base plate. Exactly what I was looking and hoping for. I have a C300 in black magic cage fully rigged out on it. Has both threads if you want or need to swap out cameras accessories etc

Well made, does the job
This is a great baseplate alternative to the 8sinn model. I attach a quick release plate on top of this before attaching to the camera, and that helps get the focal center height to the correct 85mm from the rods.

Quality of the rosettes suck ive had to send two back so far but the idea of this product is gold its just very heavy

Great product. Works perfect for my SF7 when I want to attach rods.

Good and sturdy
I thought it was good and creative. Is very sturdy and good shape. I wanted to put a matt box in the rails, but it wasn't high enough. So I returned it.

No Riser function built in?
This review is only base on the fact that I thought it had a riser function to lower or in my case to rise the base plate up. I need the extra room (to create more space between the 15mm rods and the lens-using 115mm cinema lens, that the diameter of the lens, not the filer dia). Anyway, it does NOT have this function. When, un-threaded the base plate it is flat, not raised like in the video. See the attached screen-shot i posted to this review. Though, well made and if your buying for any other reason, i.e., to create a shoulder mounted rig, then it will probably work for you.
