Upgrade the insoles and elevate this great shoe!
These shoes have done some major walking! I bought these for my trip to Egypt and a year later wore them back to Africa for Safari and lots of walking! I also wear them to run errands, but I put my personal in-soles inside because the ones that come with them are too thin! Together with support insoles these shoes were comfortable, durable and lightweight! They’re cute in an ugly way but when you’ve got plantar fasciitis comfort out ranks cute! I’m planning to buy a new pair!

Comfortable barefoot shoes for wide feet
The media could not be loaded. These are the first barefoot type shoe I've worn. When I first ordered them the first pair arrived and the stitching was crooked so the shoe was misshaped. I sent them back and got another pair and they fit great. I love the flat feeling when I walk. It's a completely different feeling from even a 1-in heel like Crocs or standard hiking shoes or boots. They're very flexible and don't overheat. When I've gotten them fully wet from walking in wet grass they dry very quickly. Your feet do get a bit dirty because you're down on the ground in the dust and dirt however. I have wide feet and a bunion and they're very comfortable to walk in. I wear them for everyday wear, to the store, walking through the neighborhood, hiking in the woods. They have thicker protection points at the ball of the foot and heel. That is helpful but you can feel larger sharp rocks through the shoe. They're so comfortable I'm considering getting a pair as a second set of house shoes. I'd highly recommend these especially if you have wide feet.

Like you aren’t wearing shoes at all
Ok so I have THE flattest feet in the world. I am 53 years old and these are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I had to add a small arch support but other than that, amazing. I only gave it 4 stars and I’m really bummed but they are starting to tear out at the toe and I’ve only had them for 5 months

Pleasantly surprised
I just received - "Weweya Barefoot Shoes for Women Minimalist Running Cross Training Shoe" I have a few barefoot shoes. All of them you can "feel" the ground. But these, while still being "barefoot" have a thicker sole which when walking you don't feel the ground as much but still feels like a barefoot shoe. They have a medium arch support & inside the shoes it almost looks like a satin lining. They are strong & well made. I am a size 10 & I got a size 10. However, if I planned on wearing a thick sock I would have sized up to the 10 1/2 (Sixze 10 - Big toe hits the top of the shoe) They have a good grip on the ground They are wide in the front but not as wide as I see some barefoot shoes. I would recomend these shoes

wrong size sent
I live outside the USA, so any amazon items I get I have to send to my freight forwarder, who then ships to me. Needless to explain that I cannot then return items as shipment from where I live is too costly and amazon returns dont apply outside the USA. I ordered size 7 in this shoe, that is a 37 in European sizing, the shoe arrives as a 39. It is too big and I cannot return. Besides that it looks nice although colour was a little more dayglo than anticipated. I bought it specifically for water fall abseiling on a jungle adventure I was going on, I wore them anyway with socks for the extra space, but they are the most slippery shoes ever, after having a fall and then realizing how hard and plastic the soles are, they certainly are not for slippery rocks and muddy paths etc.

They'll get the job done
i still have to break these in, but my notes are that these shoes do not give me any barefoot feel. i can call them minimalist sure. the rubber is thick and the sole insert (can be removed) is very cushioned with an arch. the shoe lace material is kind of slippery.i bought these for my job, working on a produce farm, where i do a lot of kneeling, squatting, kicking, walking, etc. terrain is various, gravel, concrete, mud, plastic. the extra rubber overtop of the toes was essential for me. i only saw one other shoe/brand using the same external sole. so far the fabric and sole seem well-attached.had a frustrating experience receiving the correct size for me through the seller, FuFuDirect. i wear a US 6.5W, but found a good fitting when ordering US 5W. the physical shoes themselves are sized in EU.

Perfect flexibility and support for chronic pain!
I ordered 5 different types of barefoot minimalist sneakers, including these, to see if any might be of benefit to my severe joint and back pain from a chronic illness I've had for 20 years. I have very finicky feet which don't like being tightly squished into anything, even compression socks are unbearable. These were the first pair I tried, and they're the only pair that actually gave me the support I needed while being comfortably roomy and as flexible as a dance shoe. I was a dancer for 35 years (my chronic health condition took me off the dance floor), and love a good dance shoe.. (*thank you Capezio*). Every other pair I tried were also flexible, but I could literally feel everything I was stepping on, there was zero support, and worst of all, I felt every single step in my back and joints. I don't go totally barefoot,or walk around in sock feet because it hurts. These shoes are barefoot minimalist, and let you feel the surface you're walking on without actually feeling any razor sharp gravel in your nerve endings. I tried walking outside to my car in another pair, and ended up having to tip toe back into the house quickly. These however... I've literally been living in these shoes for the past 3 days. I bought another pair in a different color.. and the only thing I'm apprehensive about, is what that color will actually look like when it gets here. The ones I've just ordered (and am currently wearing) are black... and it's kinda hard to screw that color up too much. Seriously though.. if you suffer from a chronic pain condition (esp if you've had it for years.. I've suffered from mine for over 20 years and I just turned 41) which causes mid to lower back pain, joint pain (hips and knees esp), can't tolerate tight shoes or walking around with little to no support... This is your shoe!!!
