A Convenient Kitchen Essential
The Prepworks by Progressive Nut Chopper with Non-Skid Base has quickly become an indispensable tool in my kitchen. This handy nut chopper has made the process of chopping nuts a breeze, saving me time and effort while ensuring consistent results. First and foremost, the design of this nut chopper is thoughtful and practical. The non-skid base keeps the chopper stable on the countertop, preventing any unwanted movements while in use. It provides a secure grip, making the chopping process safe and hassle-free. The stainless steel blades are sharp and efficient, allowing me to chop various nuts effortlessly. Whether it's almonds, pecans, walnuts, or any other nuts, this chopper consistently delivers even and finely chopped results. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is the convenient measuring marks on the container. It takes the guesswork out of portioning, allowing me to chop exactly the amount of nuts needed for a recipe. The compact size of the Prepworks nut chopper is ideal for small kitchens or limited storage space. It fits neatly in my kitchen drawer, and the lid doubles as a storage cover, keeping chopped nuts fresh until they're ready to use. The easy-to-use hand-crank mechanism is both fun and efficient. It's a great alternative to manual chopping, eliminating the need for a cutting board and knife. The cleanup is a breeze as well. The components come apart easily, making them simple to wash by hand or in the dishwasher. Furthermore, the Prepworks by Progressive Nut Chopper is versatile beyond just chopping nuts. I've also used it to chop other ingredients like chocolate chips, garlic, and even herbs with excellent results. In conclusion, the Prepworks Nut Chopper with Non-Skid Base is a convenient and practical kitchen essential. Its stable design, sharp blades, and easy operation make it a standout tool for chopping nuts and other ingredients with ease. If you're looking to simplify your food preparation and add a touch of fun to your kitchen tasks, I highly recommend giving this nut chopper a try. It's a must-have for any cooking enthusiast!

Easy to clean and air dry
The top container will hold about 1/2 cup. The grinding is mixed; the fine rotation with narrow blades hitting the nuts first will still produce large pieces and coarse rotation with wider blades will still produce dust-like pieces. There is no perfect solution for this as food processors and electric grinders produce the same results. This is a bit better than an electric grinder as it is easy to see/alter the movement to check the size but the intake container is small. This is great for small amount like toppings. I wanted it for cookie making.

GREAT Chopper!!!!
I have not used this to chop nuts yet. I mainly purchased it to see if it would chop onions and celery. I don't want to bring out the big food processor with the 2 curved blades just to make a little potato salad or macaroni salad, which is what I usually use a chopper for anyway.........I save the "big guns" for "big jobs", which are rare. Plus I also have an electric mini chopper with the same 2 curved blades as the food processor and don't like it.......some of the onions and celery chop, but I wind up with bigger pieces stuck to the sides of the chopper's container and you have to keep opening the container to release the food from the sides = annoying. This Prepworks chopper is GREAT! For celery, I first prefer to lightly peel the strings off the outside with a knife (or you could try a potato peeler), cut up some 1" pieces and put in the top chopper; onions I cut up in chunks. This chopper has "6" blades! If a few pieces get stuck in the top while chopping, just give the chopper a couple of shakes. You can also turn the handle in both directions......if the food pieces get stuck, just turn the handle the opposite direction to unstick them......and then go back to the direction you desire. Instructions say to turn one way for smaller pieces, and the other for larger pieces. This chopper is also easy cleanup......it has 3 pieces: the top cover, the top chopper holder, and the bottom container which just twists onto the top.; I just hand wash with dishwashing soap, pouring soap over the blades too and use my sink sprayer to rinse the blades well......then I just let the pieces drain/air dry and then put the unit back together and lay it down inside of a regular-sized Baggies brand storage bag which fits it perfect; I also keep the instructions inside of another baggie and store the unit and instructions together in one bag. I've used this chopper 3 times so far and have never had a problem.......it is so fast, easy, and enjoyable to use.........I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!

... chopper about three months and so far it works great. It isn't terribly fast
I have had this nut chopper about three months and so far it works great. It isn't terribly fast. It takes about a 1/4 cup of nuts and you do need to turn a great deal to chop them. I go forward and backward, not to get the two sizes it chops, but to clear it so it will keep chopping. Sometimes you need to pick it up and give it a tab to dislodge a stuck nut. This isn't unusual however. I actually don't mind chopping nuts but this chops them to a fineness that is hard to get with a knife without taking a lot of time, and still they are uneven. These sizes are perfect for cookies where you want the nut throughout, like snowballs, or waffles. It makes superb nuts for pecan waffles! The best thing about this product is that it is easy to use, the rubber bottom keeps it securely in place while you work, and it is easy to take the few pieces apart and just rinse it with water. Great product for light chopping jobs, or to make extra to store in a baggie.

Broke... after 7 years
Bought the first one of these in March 2014, and another in 2015 "just in case" the first broke. Somehow misplaced the 2015, but the 2014 just.. would.. not.. quit. It's simple and just plain works. The chopper has been used almost daily, often several times a day, typically peanuts, walnuts, pecans. We typically don't even bother with the lid, just grind away open-topped. It runs through the dishwasher regularly, so let me throw out 2 caveats that are in no way a bad thing. First, they can detach between the red screw-ring and the upper - just super glue it back together. It's a simple fix, did it twice to the old one. Second, dishwasher will fog the plastic, so use the DW only if you don't care (I don't, not trying to win prizes for nicest looking chopper). It did eventually break and we've bought another. Just super great result. New one been going strong since early Dec 2021.

Does the job but not durable
Does the job, but after a year it is cracking in a couple of places and the labels are wearing off. I always hand washed it. Never put it in the dishwasher so disappointed it didn’t hold up better.

Great nut chopper!
The Prepworks by Progressive Nut Chopper with Non-Skid Base, White arrived adequately packaged, on-time, and as described. We have put this nut chopper to the test chopping several cups of almonds and the nut chopper came through with flying colors doing an excellent job of chopping the almonds. I would highly recommend this nut chopper to others.
