Ocean Potion SPF 50 Face Zinc Oxide Clear 1 oz (29ml)

I recently ordered Ocean Potion clear zinc sunscreen. It couldn't have arrived at a better time. A couple of years ago I went on a long motorcycle ride to Laconia, N.H. I assumed that I had applied appropriate sunscreen periodically throughout the day. I awoke the next morning with my nose so red and swollen it was impossible to breath through it or blow it after my crying jag from the pain. I immediately went to the emergency room. To make a long story short I was told in a very stern voice that my nose should never be exposed to the sun or wind without a very liberal "wad" of zinc oxide. Needless to say I was thrilled when I became aware of this clear zinc oxide. This past Tuesday I repeated the tour to Laconia along with my Ocean Potion. I am thrilled to say that it exceeded my expectations. I no longer have to spend my sun time looking as though I was attacked by a whiteout applicator. I will definitely purchase this again in the future and have already recommended and shared this with my co-riders.

Seriously love this stuff, stumbled upon it whilst looking for sunscreen with zinc oxide. I bike around and live in florida so sunblock is a must for my sensitive face (and body but that's another product). I have fairly sensitive skin and typically would never leave a review for a skin care product as quickly as a week but this product has truly proven itself to me. After I've washed my face and applied toner I apply a pea size of jojoba oil and then about 4-5 pea sizes of this sunscreen to my face. It is a miracle worker to say the least. My face did not go through a trial period where it had to adjust to it (THANKFULLY) and left my skin looking oh-so soft. If I'm actively out in the sun, whether it be biking or something else, I'll reapply periodically. If it is a laying-it-low kind of day I only apply once. The first day I started using it I got compliments by two people who see me regularly! LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE PRICE !! $7 HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT!? Great stuff, super thankful for discovering this eminent face elixir.

My lips got extremely sunburnt years ago. Since then they are very sensitive to the sun. This is the only thing that truly worked in protecting my lips against the sun. A little goes a long way and you want to ensure you are rubbing it in all the way and check with a mirror. I don't mind that at all when I know it does its job well.

Generally I love Ocean Potion products because they work well and do not have oxybenzone or retinyl palmitate (vitamin A). Unfortunately there was an error in the listing, and this product DOES contain oxybenzone. The description's ingredient list here on Amazon did not list it as an ingredient. If this didn't have oxybenzone in it, it would be perfect and I would give it 10 stars if I could. It goes on clear, it is not greasy at all, and gives excellent sun protection. I don't notice any fragrance. Please, Ocean Potion, remove the oxybenzone from this and I will buy it forever.

I absolutely love this facial sunscreen! I wasn’t aware of this brand until I used it at The Four Seasons in Nassau. It is a brand they had available to their patrons down on the beach. Loved the body product as well. This goes on really light and almost feels like it dries to a light powder. Doesn’t feel greasy and doesn’t clog my pores.

I spend a lot of time outdoors and in the sun. I've tried many sun screens in my time and I must say this is one of my favorites! It stays on all day, even when its really hot and I'm sweating, the Ocean Potion Face Potion stays on and does it job. Its small and lightweight, which makes it a great choice when hiking. After an entire day out, I came home and was not sun burned at all. I did get a little bit of color, but there was no sun burn, and no skin peeling what so ever a couple days later. Its as if I wasn't out in the sun at all. I highly recommend Ocean Potion's Face Potion to anyone with fair skin like myself, it does the job!

This sunscreen does what it says. I've used many sunscreens that claim to be waterproof, but none have proven to be true like this one. This sunscreen doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy either, It leaves it feeling moisturized.1oz may not sound like a lot, but the sunscreen covers a lot of surface area with just a small dab on your fingertip. I use 2 dabs to cover my whole face, so can get an idea. I also found that it doesn't leave a strong sunscreen scent. I don't even notice the smell anymore after 2 minutes.You can actually "feel" it blocking the sun.I'll be buying more when I run out.
