I recommend to all who do office work.
Excellent pen, some of my co workers had and recommended me the gravity pen, I have been highly satisfied with the grip, it actually lives up to the hype.I'd recommend getting it at the 1. Size, it's personally perfect for me.Only thing I'd criticize is that the ink only comes in black and not colors like red or green, I do a lot of paper work at my job and usually use multiple colors to organize inventory and would totally buy, love and use a variety of colors if the Dr. Grip gravity pen had these options for sale.

Ink
So i am a bit of pen snob and prefer gel. My job however requires ink......glad I fund these. I use almost exclusively pilot pens. and this pleases me to find these. I got the refills enough to last a while... I hope. Smooth writing without leakage, comfortable to hold just a joy to write with.

So good I bought TWO.
Background:Paramedic that used to have to do paper charts. So, I had to handwrite everything, every call, "push hard, there's 3 copies." After 10-12 calls, my hand was a crippled, cramped mess. (Side Note: I'm a lefty, so I needed a pen that didn't smear when my hand dragged across my writing.)I discovered Dr. Grip and it was a GAME CHANGER. I could write all day long, writing in triplicate, and my hand was no longer fatigued and crampy. On one call, I snagged the pen on the stretcher during a lift and broke off the pocket clip. I was sad like wet kitten. We soon changed to ePCR's, and charts were done on toughbook laptops. The pen went into a drawer, and I continued using "throw down" pens for patient signatures (we carry throw downs...some patients, and even facility staff, are so gross, you don't want to touch the pen after they use it). Fast Forward: I've been a supervisor for 7 years now, and do more writing than patient charting. I missed my Dr. Grip, but couldn't find the all black at the store. Enter Amazon. BOOM! I ordered TWO. One cost a little more, but it came with blue ink (Most documents ask for black ink, due to antiquated facsimile issues with blue ink), but I ALWAYS sign in blue, so originals remain originals when documents are scanned in black and white. SO, In the photo, you'll see my original Dr. Grip Black, purchased many moons ago at Target (top pen with tip extended), and the two I ordered to replace it. I carry both, one blue, one black. If you look closely, the blue ink pen has tiny blue accents. learned when they discontinued the Sharpie Stainless Steel marker, ya better get a couple in case they go away. This pen may go away, but the refills are standard and will always be available. Hope this helps you make your decision. Oh, I guess I should add...smoothest writing ink pen I own. Thanks for reading.

Pilot Dr Grip.
I bought this pen because I write quite often. Does write smooth and fluent. It may be a little thick for some but recommendable.

Slightly lighter than standard Dr. Grip
Love the colorLost my Full Black Japan import version Dr. Grip so I had to rebuy this one. Helps me identify my black pen since I use blue ink in my grey Dr. Grip. The refill # for these are (77271) for Black ink & (77272) for Blue ink type that in Amazon and you should see the refillsI prefer the heavier weight but doesn't make the biggest difference

Great pen for fine writing!!!
The pen has a great grip, very comfortable. I write a lot of readings into small boxes and this pen is just what the doctor ordered. The blue accent is great for finding in a pocket, I also bought the Full Black medium point so I can tell them apart right away.

Not like the other ones...
I'm a huge fan of Pilot Dr. Grip ink pens. I ordered the fancy all black one...the most expensive one at $11-It's advertised as a .7 ballpoint pen BUT it writes more like a fine tip gel pen. It's very light weight and not near as heavy as any of the other Dr. Grip pens that I've bought in the past. I took the ink refill out and tried to change it out with another one to see if I could use a ballpoint pen instead of a gel looking one and now it won't even tighten back up. It's tight enough to use but it has never tightened completely. It's a cool looking pen though...

CUTE PEN
THIS IS VERY VERY CUTE PEN. IT HAS A REALLY A BEST GRIP TO HOLD THE PEN. NO SUGGESTED GRIP. QUALITY OF REFILL IS ALSO VERY GOOD. SMOOTH IN WRITING. AND SMOTTH IN OPERATION. BUT PRICED SLIGHTLY ON HIGHER SIDE.

Helped save my daughter's A-levels
After a period of intense A-level exam preparation my daughter started getting worrying signs of RSI. It became so bad that she couldn't even write for an hour without considerable pain. This pen helped save her; after she switched to using a combination of this and the PenAgain Ergosof Pen she was able to cope.
