The texture is a bit thicker and takes more effort to spread. However, I love it because it doesn't make my face look greasy at all. My skin is oily to combination skin. This cream isnt oily or dry. It has the perfect consistency u can also use it before makeup. Its like medium hydration, i have been using it for 2 months and it did not cause my face any extra trouble. I do get the occasional acne but i feel this cream helped me to keep my face balanced. It is suitable for summer but i dont think it gives u that extra moisture u need for winter. Hope this helps u beauties
