Very good alternative to rupes
Overall very good — durable toolGets a little hot on the metal rod when working long time. Cutting speed at 3mm throw need to be at speed 5 almost otherwise might stall if pressure put on the tool

Doesn’t have enough power
Bought this to for doing some paint correction on my Road Glide. It’s a great tool for apply polish or wax but doesn’t have the power for correcting paint. I’ll try some different pad and compound combinations but I don’t think it will make a huge difference.

Having it cordless is amazing and it goes a long time on a charge.
It was extremely helpful in hard to get to areas such as tailgates, window pillars and grills. Detailing around rear view mirrors is also much easier.

Needs more power
Needs a little more power behind it. Other than that it works just takes a lot of time to get most defects out. Wish it had a better battery display. Also wish it didn’t go into a low power mode. Would like to see the third gen have a led light on it to illuminate the area your working in

I Should Have Trusted the Comments
If all I wanted was a nano "rotary" polisher, this would have been fine. I wanted a nano "Dual Action" polisher but didn't get that. When using either counterweight, you had to barely touch the surface of what you are polishing for both rotation and orbiting motion. Under normal use, you only got orbiting. It didn't take much to stop the rotation of the head. I really wanted this to work for the price. It works perfectly fine if you just use the direct rotation attachment. I returned the unit and bought a FLEX PXE 80 instead. If money were no object I would have purchased the Rupes Ibrid unit, but I didn't want to spend $600 for the complete kit. Starter kits weren't available or backordered.

Excellent for a serious detailer
Well worth the price. Batteries last a long time.i do a lot of paint corrections and I actually really love this little machine. I don’t use mine as much as I do my 12mm and 15 Rupes which is why I chose this one and not the highly expensive RUPES micro polisher. So far it was a wise choice.

It's OK. SHUTS off A LOT
This unit shuts off a lot while using, I guess it gets too hot inside. Other than that, no complaints.

Not impressed with power.
Unfortunately I am very disappointed in this product, there is no power whatsoever even with the slightest of pressure the pad stops in its place, I will like to return it if I can if not it will likely sit in my cupboard and not be of any use to me.
