Extremely light UV effect.
Unless you have UV light directly on it you won’t see much of a glow if at all. I laced my entire PC with black lights which makes it look more purple than blue.

Works, but not with other dyes
The dye works pretty well and gives a nice solid blue color. In my watercooling loop, I had been previously using a green pastel solid-colored coolant. I used a cleaning kit from the same manufacturer as the green coolant to clean out my loop, followed by several flushes of distilled water, but I was still getting a slight tint of green to my un-dyed water. I bought this dye hoping it would take away or overpower that tinge, but was disappointed when I had to use a LOT of dye to achieve this effect, making the water a darker blue than desired. Overall, dye works well, but maybe not with other colors.

Not what I was expecting.
Well it's definitely blue. It's not UV reactive as far as I can tell. Maybe my LED strip has lost its brightness or something, but the dye in my fluid is not glowing like I expected.:/

UV part is pure BS
I guess they figure at this price buyers won't go through the trouble of returning it. I have been building systems for near 30 years now and have been getting heavily into water cooling due to certain components and buyers requests. With that being said I must rationalize that if PrimoChill is going to lie about a $10 product then they certainly will do the same on much more expensive items. With that being said, I will look elsewhere for my water cooling needs. This product simply is not UV reactive. Other UV items react just fine under same exact conditions. Oh well. there are plenty of other options to purchase my water cooling needs.... Just discovered that a locally purchased bottle of purple "UV" dye that was purchased a few months ago which was also not UV reactive was also a primochill product. Maybe I will just keep buying these until I actually get one that is UV and just return all the ones that aren't, both locally and here on Amazon. Maybe after dozens of returns they will actually fix it or remove the false claim that it is "UV"
