I love these things. I originally picked them somewhat at random because they seemed like a decently-rated, inexpensive camera option. That's exactly what they ended up being. The setup is super easy and adding a new camera takes about a 10 seconds once you have the thing unpacked. The picture quality is pretty good, the app works fairly well, and there's not much to say that's negative for the price. They could improve upon the software a bit. I would love the ability to define deadzones that won't trigger notifications (that would make this product so much better), but aside from that I can't believe the value. I can open the app from anywhere and quickly check in on things. After purchasing these, I bought a bunch of Blink cameras because I wanted cameras that could be placed outdoors and could run on batteries. I know that because they are battery operated, the Blink cameras serve a different purpose, but I'm so disappointed with them compared to these ones. With Blink, it takes forever to get a Live view and then it will turn off unless you manually tell it to continue every 15 seconds or so. I've also found Blink to be so unreliable with motion detection. I will keep adjusting angles and settings to hopefully get better results, but I'm so unimpressed. I also don't have the ability to Live View multiple cameras at once or save video from the Blink app. In contrast to Blink, these cameras do all that right out the box for much cheaper. If you don't need an outdoor camera (I placed these in a window, pointing outwards and they work well, except you can't use night vision that way), you won't be disappointed with these.

If you're looking for something super simple and affordable for piece of mind this is it. I'm honestly impressed with the image quality for the price. Night vision is pretty amazing. Picture shown of my room is dark but not pitch black, outside pic is pitch black. Alerts work well, annoyingly well, but you can adjust sensitivity or set a schedule etc. Love the fact it comes with two 32gb memory cards so you're ready to go out of the box. Set up was very simple. Literally download the app, plug in camera, pick up camera and scan a barcode that pops up on your phone to sync and you are viewing live. Playback is my only gripe because just the smallest slide will fast forward or rewind by a few minutes. Hard to pin point exact times, not impossible. Might be better to have it just record on movement detection but i just keep it on full time. Speakers work very well, can talk to my dog while he's on my bed. This was a deal breaker lmao. You can also hear from the mic in the camera so you can use as a baby monitor or hear your wife's boyfriend. I know these are indoor but I put one against a window and it worked perfect for daytime but at night there was nothing but glare from the ir light. I just decided to say screw it and mount it outside under the car-port where things don't really get weather damaged. Seems absolutely fine this morning: no dew in the lens or anything and I added pics just to show. Will update review if I totally screwed up but with the price I doubt I'll get too mad either way. Edit: about a week outside under the carport and no noticeable difference or damage whatsoever. Working perfect.. Would not put it somewhere it can get rained on for sure. Will update again after a while New pic added at midnight still going strong outside. Keep both cameras on event recording and playback is sooo much better. 5 month update! New picture added with timestamp for proof. Outside camera still going strong. Noticed recently it was going offline occasionally and figured out it was the power cord going bad from the weight of the extension cord pulling down on it. Micro usb are used for everything so really not an issue, most people have a thousand of them these days. Bedroom camera still great because theres no pressure on that cord.. Other than that literally no problems other than the occasional alert from curious critters :)

I have 4 of these. They are easy to set up and work reasonably well. I bought them to monitor the house when we are away. 4 things I do not like about them. 1: The motion detection is way too sensitive and will trigger from light changes from passing cars. I keep mine turned off. 2: The night vision works ok, but not through windows. If you are pointing it outside you need to turn that off in the application or you will not see anything at night. 3: The cameras seem to be sensitive to how close they are to the hotspot. I have a mesh network and if the camera is too far from the hotspot the view takes much longer to come up. Does not seem to be affected by cell connectivity. Mostly a Wi-Fi signal issue. 4: NOW I REALLY HATE THIS. They recently started showing pop up ads on the app that cover the screen and have a timer. They are pimping their storage solutions. Every time you open the app you have to wait for the idiotic ads to clear before you can view the cameras. Then they pop up smaller ads between screen transitions. They did not do this until recently. Almost enough to make me chuck the product and find a solution that I have complete control over ( they have a remote server that connects the camera to the phone ). If you can stomach the Ads then the cameras mostly work fine. The picture quality is good and I have been able to view the rooms in the house without any real problems. If they would settle for a small ad ( not a popup ) I would have no real issues with the product. A cheap solution to peace of mind when traveling.

I have had these for over a year now and I'm still pleased with them. They were very easy to set up, simply plug them in, locate them where it's convenient for you and install the Laview app to gain access to them. They also can be synced with Alexa or Google Home (you can view the cameras through the Alexa app, Google Home will only let you add them to your home but won't allow you to view them). I have added a few pictures of the video quality both with the Laview app and the Alexa app. The Laview app sometimes doesn't seem to have good connection when using the mic (I got the cameras to check on my dogs when we're away). We would talk to the dogs to get them to stop misbehaving, and found that with Laview app, they didn't hear us sometimes. With the Alexa app this works better and the sound is good. You can save images and recordings of the cameras with the Laview app, as well as set notifications and routines of the cameras, just like you'd do with the Alexa app. I recently had an issue with one of the cameras, that it turned off and would not turn back on, even after doing all the basic troubleshooting. Laview customer service has been really helpful, replied and solved the issue very quickly, which I appreciate. For the price, the cameras couldn't be better. The only negative feature would be that doesn't fully work with Google Home (the image cannot be accessed through their app). I would recommend these cameras for sure.

I decided to try these security cameras and so far I am not disappointed. I am using them for outdoor surveillance positioned from windows in my home so they aren't exposed to weather conditions. The set up took less than 30 minutes, maybe 15 minutes? App function is on point, you can continuously view the feed from anywhere so long as your phone's internet connection is okay. The app is user friendly and easy to adjust settings. You can turn off indicator lights to be more discrete, adjust motion detection areas, and even change video resolution. I wasn't able to enable night view as the red lights glare against the window, however the cameras pick up plenty of light from the street (which isn't much) that illuminates my property just fine. I did have to get clever with how I mounted them because they don't have a wide range of motion on their single axis. Overall, no complaints. If I encounter any failures I will update the review.

I just received these Months Ago but just want to re write it and repost my review since seller was dishonest.. and mehn... what have i done? I wasted 3 hours of my life on a useless piece of crap.. Trust me.. I dont usually write reviews but this product just pissed me off so bad.. that i just need to let people know and whoever made this. its now 2020.. you can make pairing much easier.. it only connect using 2.4GH which is not a problem. IF your using dual band then you have to change your phone wifi to 2.4. Anyways, I was able to finally connect it after hours of trying.. I was finally somewhat satisfied. I had to log in to my router gateway to check which of my connection was 2.4 so i had to change the label. Had to do all that just to connect these cameras. But anyway, so i thought everything was finally good. I started setting up the camera and the wires.. I started to place the camera in the strategically location.. but soon as I plugged it in and pasted the adhesive to the wall and turned the camera back on... It wasn't connected anymore.. WTH??? what??? it disconnected. So I tried and tried again.. until i couldn't take it anymore.. CRAP!!! Piece of CRAPPPPPPP!!!! wasted so much time for should have been an easy plug and play camera. There is always the first experience in life. This is my very first bad experience with camera and product on Amazon.. I just got done boxing it and will return it tomorrow.

I bought these cameras to keep tabs on my elderly mom who lives alone. They were pretty easy to set up and gave clear visuals so we felt confident that she was safe in her apartment. After 2 months they suddenly went offline and we could not get them to reconnect. I contacted customer support who immediately reached back out to me to help us resolve the issue with the cameras. I was actually very surprised at the level of assistance that I got from the customer service rep but she was Johnny-on-the-spot in keeping in touch while we tried to trouble shoot the problems with these cameras. After several attempts to reset the cameras, we determined that the reset was not going to work and the rep told me that she will send new cameras. I am VERY pleased with the customer service and am happy that we will be getting cameras that enable me to watch over my mom with confidence. I highly recommend these cameras if for no other reason than the super level of customer service!

2 YEAR UPDATE: Knocking off a star from this review. Why? THE APP HAS ADS. ADS THAT MAKE YOU WATCH IT A FEW SECONDS BEFORE IT LETS YOU WATCH YOUR FEED. This is plain BS. I would avoid this product and would never recommend it just for that reason. First off, I paid about how much 2x 32GB SD cards would've cost me a couple of years ago. But for the same price, I got 2 wireless cameras that include a 32gb card each! But that's not all. The setup was EXTREMELY simple. If I were to redo the setup again - I can probably reset the camera, download the phone app while that's going on, then run the app and run the wizard and have it all up and running in 2 minutes or less. QUALITY: Nice build and form factor. The included 3M double sided tape is more than enough to keep them in place. However, it is the user's responsibility to properly clean the mounting surface or even the 3M tape will fail. Wipe with alcohol and dry then mount. USB cable are the soft silicone type - not the cheap plastic feeling ones that kink like crazy. USB power supply is matchbox size, putting out 5V 1A. PICTURE: This thing is SHARP. Optics and compression and all. I was very surprised to see this performance considering the price. Very happy. IR lights are bright enough to light a medium-sized living room corner to corner. NETWORK: Stable - everytime I open the app to check the feed, it always connects without fail. Again, very impressed and very happy with it's performance. PRICE: Yep - buy it. For a simple home-security setup this is a great camera. I have tried many other solutions but nothing as 'light' and seamless as this.
