a true rust eraser!
i came across my late dad's old WW2 camillus TL-29 pocketknife in a toolbox. he had it while in the SeaBees in the S. Pacific. it was a solid lump of rust. after soaking in penetrating oil, i pried open the blades. it took about 5 minutes to clean off one side of the knife blade to a "looks like new" condition. the instructions (all in japanese) say to wet it for use on rust - cleans off rust and stains (and patina!) amazingly well!i'm extremely pleased with how well it works. i bought another.

The price of this product is a little bit expensive,for cleaning the sushi knife is not bad ,worked ok !

Works Great!!
You get two rust erasers, both are medium. They work great. I soaked mine with mineral oil to clean the oxidation off my knives and tools. Be advised the packaging is written completely in Japanese. These are medium grain erasers, so I notice they do leave fine scratches, so you may need to buff the metal out with polish afterwards. Leave a fine coating of mineral oil on your knives and tools to prevent rusting during storage (especially if they are stored outside).

Very happy with this purchase for both rust removal; as well as build up removal on my sharpening stones. Because it was a two pack I have one for each purpose and they work great for either purpose.

Fixed my garden shears
Works great to get rid of mild rust on cutters and knives. My garden shears are working really well again. Be sure to soak the rust eraser in water first before using.

A Must for Knife Sharpening
This medium Nagura abrasive rapidly and safely removes iron swarf left on the stones from knife sharpening. An added benefit is to produce the slurry necessary to provide the sharpening action.This product is also known as "Rust Eraser". I believe medium is the only grit you will need. Even on final sharpening step.Be Sharp and by Nagura!

Works very well
I used the medium rust eraser to remove some scratches from a couple of knives. This did a great job and both now look as if an adult is using them. I will be purchasing the fine eraser as an adjunct to make polishing just a bit easier. I am very pleased with this purchase.
