Helly Hansen Men's Loke Waterproof Trousers

It’s great to have zipper side pockets as many waterproof trousers don’t seem to have them. Good quality trousers for a great price

For an outdoor clothing company as established as Helly Hanson, I was a little surprised to discover that these trousers have a flaw. They seem well made, good quality and a good fit and but for the flaw I would have given 5 stars. However, after my first wear, in moderate/heavy rain, I had wet patches on my under trousers where water had penetrated the pocket zips which were fully done up. This was quite a disappointment as HH are a brand I have used many times in the past and who usually make really good gear.

As the topic, it is a overtrousers. This is OK. But the zipper is very poor quality and design. I know YKK normally means good, but this one bites the farbic every time (the left pocket). It was pretty dangerous when you run into it when hiking.

Small seemed to be huge

I bought this for hiking in the rain. It is not fully waterproof. The water did get through via the zip so my pants are wet after 4 hours of hiking in the rain.
