No aftertaste
It is the closest taste to sugar without negligible aftertaste but it will not provide sweetness strength as sugar

Good!
For me stevia is better. Because erythritol is not that so sweet. So if you have a sweet tooth like me. You will end up adding more and I think the consumption is more. Unlike stevia. One scoop is equal to 2 scoop of regular sugar already! For me you can save more!

Very strong strange unplesant odour
When I open pack, immideately very strong stranage odour came out and its making me feel very uncomfortable. This is Erythritol, I am using all the time and I never had such strong unplesand smell. Even I can not keep in my room as it smells very strong and very unplesant. As I can not return - it a loss for me and I am not reccomending to anyone to buy this.

Tastes just like sugar
Finally found what I need. A sugar replacement with No Aftertaste! It is keto friendly, tastes just like sugar and no after taste like stevia. Highly recommend. The only thing is that you need to add a little bit more of the same weight you normally put from white sugar.

Erythritol is quite simply the best non-sugar sweetener
First, the picky stuff. Erythritol can't be used as a 1:1 substitute for sugar as it's around 70% as sweet. So, if you're sweetening a drink, you'll probably want to use ~30% more to ensure you get the effect you want. Also, it doesn't dissolve that well into liquid at room temperature. If I'm adding it to an iced drink, I add a little hot water to the erythritol so the granules dissolve completely; THEN I add that solution to the drink. It's an extra step and it takes a little more time and effort. But! There is none of the bitterness or unpleasant aftertaste you get with so many other sweeteners. And it has no calories whatsoever. None! Over the years I stopped adding sugar to my tea and coffee, so I don't go through a lot of erythritol; but every so often it's nice to have (say) an iced coffee with a little extra shot of sweetness, and this hits the spot perfectly. Wonderful stuff. Next I'm going to try baking with it!

Great product!!!
Great alternative to stevia. This does not cause a rise in insulin levels as stevia does. Recommended by my doctor at Wharton weightloss clinics. Great alternative to sugar. Will buy again. Use own judgement when substituting in baking recipes for sugar it is sweet. My only complaint is the price. I have lots of health issues...insulin resistance is one...sucks having to pay so much money to make healthier lifestyle choices. Wish this was much cheaper that's my only complaint lol Will buy again as I cannot use sugar or stevia or regular sweetness in my case.

Great Keto alternative for your sweet too. Granular version (must heat to melt, like in coffee)
Arrived on time. Product as advertised. PROBLEM. If you are doing those lovely KETO FAT BOMBS that don't require cooking; THEN these Granular Version will not work. Best to buy Swerve brand icing (confectionary) sugar. However this works for coffee or anything that is heated. If you know you want Granular then buy the 2.5 lbs, best value for your dollar. This product is NON-GMO (very important to KETO). Also it does not taste like real sugar but it also will not act like sugar and its evil *LOL* effects of cavities (my personal reason since i have a sweet tooth and do brush my teeth--my special powers is to attract cavities regardless) and turning to fat. __Please click if this was helpful to you. Thanks!

In my opinion Erythritol is the best of the Zero Glycemic Index Sweeteners and I really like the Now Foods brand.. I couldn’t take all the bloating and gas I got from most of the cakes, cookies and ice creams sold commercially with the artificial sweeteners they were adding.. They’re full of Xylitol, Sorbitol, etc, that work on the gastrointestinal tract. Sure they don’t have calories, but you pay for it in other ways. That tradeoff, isn’t good for your health. I only use two sweeteners now for everything and that’s pure Stevia & Erythritol. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, but I find with my diabetes they work the best for keeping me Healthy and my A1C’s in checkErythritol does cloud, when you first mix into opaque liquids, but clears up quickly. For most of my baking I mix Erythritol with Stevia. You have to kind of experiment, to find the blend you like. I think they actually sell a blend of that, but I’m sure it’s much cheaper to make your own and you can adjust it to how you like. I can’t tell you how to mix it, because there are different forms of Stevia (in much different strengths). Most people who have used Erythritol are familiar with the mint-like cooling effect on the tongue sometimes experienced. By mixing the Stevia & Erythritol for Drinks & Baking, I haven’t had that problem. I might add that I have Celiac disease, so all my baking is Gluten Free. It’s works great for gluten free cooking, so I can only imagine it would work OK for regular wheat flour too. I use Almond Flour, Rice Flours, Sunflower Seed Four, Garbanzo Bean Flour Etc. I use a bunch of different flours and the Now Foods Erythritol/Stevia blend I mix has suited me well.

Great for baking, weird cooling sensation
I have been experimenting a lot with various sweeteners. So far this is my favourite. Its bulkiness makes it good for baking compared to finer powders or sweeteners which are much sweeter than sugar. There's no bitter or chemical aftertaste as well, which was my biggest problem with other sweeteners. However, there is a cooling sensation when eating it. It's neat in mint-flavoured treats (I made minty meringues), but just strange and kind of unpleasant in other things (like brownies). You can minimize this by dissolving it in water or egg for about five minutes before using it in a recipe.I would still take the cooling sensation over bitterness any day.
