The tuner itself is rather good. I needed one cheap and fast and I must admit, I am pleasantly surprised. The screen is bright and easily visible. Just finished tuning a newly strung guitar and it did its job perfectly. The box of picks is a nice bonus too. Overall really happy.

Purchased these as I’m a complete novice to the guitar. The tuner works and so do the plectrums. There are much nicer/fancier versions of both available but these are cheap and perfectly fine until I figure out what I’m doing. My only gripe is that the plastic box the picks come in doesn’t clip shut but I’ve just put them in a small tin I had lying around. Over all, ideal beginner’s set.

The box of plectrums is just what you'd expect, no complaints there. I'm using the tuner on a solid body electric guitar. At first it didn't seem to be very usable, not picking up the played string much and not at all on the higher strings. So I removed the rubber pad on the clip. That made it much better, It can still be let's say a bit fussy, but is quite usable and accurate. Can't moan for the price really.

En dan heb ik het over het stemapparaat: het ronde rubbertje dempt de frequentie respons, waardoor het stemapparaat het niet goed doet. Als je het ronde rubbertje verwijdert zodat het plastic direct op je gitaarhoofd klemt is de frequentie-respons optimaal en is het een zeer snel stemapparaat. Ik mag ook opmerken dat deze zeer klein is.Ik tokkel liever dan dat ik een plectrum gebruik, maar ik had het idee dat ik voor sommige dingen eventueel wat sneller zou moeten kunnen zijn. Ik heb mooie plectra om naar te kijken, maar bleek toch de voorkeur te geven aan iets dunnere plectra. Met een eenvoudig setje zoals deze kan men het even uitproberen, ook wat de favoriete dikte is.Zoals elders aangegeven ruiken de plectra wel als ze uit de verpakking komen en voelen ze licht vettig aan. Even laten dampen zodat de desinfectans weg is en de plectra zijn helemaal het haasje en u het baasje.
