These little one-cup containers are indispensiable in my kitchen. Only today I used one to store half a big tomato. I had used a few slices on a sandwich and wanted to save the remainder of the tomato later for a salad. It fit perfectly in this little container, and I didn't have to use plastic wrap to keep it fresh. Pyrex containers of an size are excellent, incredibly durable, easy to clean and the plastic lids wash just fine on the dishwasher's top rack. Great transaction.

Why?Glass is cleaner and safer than plastic.This is Pyrex tempered glass, which means you can microwave and bake in it. It is also far more break-resistant than ordinary glass.The plastic lids in this line make a snug, watertight seal with the glass containers. (Note that you should NOT microwave the lids).The sleek, simple glass containers are attractive enough to put on the table.You can put the glass containers right into the oven if, or example, you are making a hot baked dip. If there is leftover dip after appetizer time, simply put the red lid on the container and pop the whole thing right into the fridge.It's easy to make a stack of these containers in your refrigerator. You can see right through the glass and identify the contents much more easily than with plastic containers.While the rectangular glass Pyrex storage system is also good, I prefer these round vessels because they look better on the table.I hope this helps you with your decision.

These took a while to ship, but I keep buying them because they are perfect for meal prep. I portion out my proteins and these are the perfect size. They are very sturdy, microwave, and dishwasher safe

I was looking for small covered glass containers for storing small amounts of leftover food in the refrigerator, and decided to purchase ANCHOR and PYREX products for comparison. The PYREX 8-Piece Glass Food Storage Set with Covers was the clear winner. The shape of the container is optimal for efficient food storage, the containers can be stacked without toppling, and the lids are thick plastic and fit the bowl securely. (In contrast, the ANCHOR 8-Piece 6-Ounce Glass Custard Cups with Lids has an inefficient conical shape, the containers cannot be stacked, and the lids are thin plastic and do not fit the bowl securely. I rated the ANCHOR product 1-star.) I highly recommend this PYREX product to Amazon customers.

I love these containers so much! My husband and I are slowly switching our house over to glass instead of plastic for our food containers, and this is one of the best investments I have made. What I love most about these containers is that the food tastes fresher and it stays that way for longer. Plus because it's glass I don't have to worry about staining and it's so much easier to clean. We bought a bunch of these in varying sizes, but we use these mostly for lunch sized portions of pasta or soup to take to work. They work so great, and I am so happy with this purchase.

I bought these to use in an Instant Pot for desserts, etc. I initially looked at ramekins but they usually don't come with lids, plus these were a better value monetarily. 3 of these bowls will fit in one layer in my 6-quart Instant Pot, and I've stacked them 2 layers deep. The glass is super easy to keep clean afterwards. I've read reviews that the lids crack after awhile, so I'm running them in the top 3rd rack of my dishwasher or hand-washing them. Aside from Instant Pot foods, these are a great size for small amounts of leftovers. The lids seal tight.

This is a great little set of these 1-cup Pyrex bowls with lids. Though the brand is Pyrex, there are NOT borosilicate glass like the Pyrex products of old. It's still tempered glass and stands up well to normal kitchen use.The lids fit snugly; they leak ever so slightly if you're tipping around a bowl of liquid, so I wouldn't recommend these for travel use. They're a great size for kitchen prep work, though; you can prep ingredients before hand, store them in the fridge, and then pull them out when it's time to cook, just like you have your own cooking show. The lids are microwave safe, but the bowls do not have handles and can get uncomfortably hot to hold.I've had several of these bowls for more than five years, and the lids have held up great. I've even washed them on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and they've been fine.

Simply great to have in the kitchen for all kinds of food storage. Can be put in fridge, microwaved or simply passed on as snack containers.
