Delivered with the wrong clips
Product was delivered in a day as promised but the clips on the fan are too large and don't fit on the fins like they're supposed to. I confirmed with be quiet! YouTube videos and the length of the brackets are totally different. I'll try replacing this but I'm not feeling too confident about the replacement either (let's hope I'm wrong).

Does not support LGA 1700 out of the box
I order the LGA 1700 mounting kit from be quite on April 19th and still till now I have yet to receive it. Cooler came in great condition the only issue is lack of the mounting bracket which for a socket thats been out for this amount of time should be an add on from the seller at least.

Amazing product 1 dB noise levels.
I started to go crazy with my PC fan noises during browsing and working so I wanted to convert my tower PC to a silent unit. The solution was:1. Changed the stock CPU cooler to Dark Rock 42. Changed my Corsair CPU fan to Be Quiet Silent Wings 3 120 mm PWM fan3. Changed my stock case fan to Be Quiet BL039 Pure Wings 2.4. Left my GeForce GTX 1050 Ti on passive cooling during low load.5. Changed BIOS fan settings to silent. Now placing my phone on top of the case I measure between 0 - 2 dB noise levels.Positive: Truly silentNegative: Sometimes my PC is running all night because I forgot to switch off since I did not notice is still on. I'm using case LEDs now to have some indication.

Great Air Cooler - Easy to install if you do it right.
Performance of this cooler is excellent and the Equal of my Noctua, it's very very quiet and keeps my 2700X below 62C at max load allowing precision boost 2 to work really well as it's mostly pointless to OC Ryzen, but it is worth giving it good cooling. The system was a Ryzen 2700X, ASUS Prime X470-Pro Motherboard and patriot Viper V4 3200 ram 42.6 mm high in a Phanteks Ethnoo Pro -M special edition MID tower case. This cooler fits the above system with plenty of room and probably only protrudes about 1.5 cm taller than an RTX2070 card. It cleared the ram with the front cooler fan remaining in the stock position as supplied.I thought it was a very easy air cooler to install, but there are a few points where a little care and planning makes installation easier and better. This is for a Ryzen 2700X AM4 socket system. First lay the case on it's side, motherboard pointing up.1. When fitting the brackets, so them 1 bracket at a time, in this way you don't need to access the CPU backplate.2. Do NOT use the supplied washers, they are for AM3 Sockets and will raise the mounting about 0.6mm too high to get good contact with AM4 chips3. There is only just enough thermal paste for 1 application, use it all4. Plug in the fan 2-1 cable before installing the cooler.5. Use a torch and be really careful to get the cooler onto the processor accurately6. Angle the screwdriver out once you put it through the hole to make it easy to place hold down screw on magnetic end, then use a torch7. When fitting the fan brackets, to clip them over the heatsink fins, push on the 90 elbow where they attach to the fan, do the same for removal, this way they come on and off easy and without damage. Pushing on this elbow, moves8. the spring end forward so it comes out of the holding groove very easily. Don't try and pick them out from the far end as I have seen many youtubers do.9. Check the middle fan is working before you clip it in place, it's hard to see afterwards. It literally takes 10 minutes to install

Fantastic Cooler.!
Fitted this to an MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard and AMD Ryzen 1700 OC'd to 3.8Ghz at 1.36V. All in a Phanteks P400S Tempered Glass Case with x2 140mm Noctua Redux Intake Fans and x2 120mm Noctua Redux Exhaust Fans. With my own custom fan curve CPU temps when gaming max out at 57 deg c and the included SilentWings 135mm Cooler Fan maxes out at 691rpm. Its inaudible. This is with the front of the case removed for better airflow as the P400S is quite restrictive. With the front of the case fitted its 62 deg c and 810rpm. Still inaudible. And 10 minutes after starting Windows the CPU is 29 dec c at idle with the fan at 390rpm.Installation is as easy as it gets and BeQuiet provide a very nice long series Philips screwdriver for the task in hand. I managed to install the cooler easy enough with the motherboard still in the Panteks case.Build quality is fantastic. This really is a premium product and the brushed black finish goes very well with my build as it's discrete. If you are after a CPU cooler that you can't hear, keeps temps low and looks nice without dominating the appearance of your PC, you won't go wrong with this! Highly recommended.

Looks great and whisper quiet
This cooler is big. You need a big case to accommodate it. Fortunately I was using it in a Dark Base 900 Pro rev.2, which is a big case. Despite its size installation wasn't too difficult. Be Quiet provide a long screwdriver to make inserting the mounting screws easier. The only part that wasn't easy was fitting the wire clips that secure the fans to the cooling fins. These are a nightmare to fit and it's very easy to damage the fins. At the very least you can expect to scrape the paint off the fins. The cooler is very quiet, in fact it's almost inaudible. However in my build, which uses an non-overclocked Intel 9900k, I'm getting temperatures in the high 80s and low 90 degrees across all cores on full load. Now there are many other factors that could also contribute to running so hot, but I can't help thinking that if I was to overclock the CPU then I'd need to swap this cooler out for an AIO water cooling solution. I did find that if I opened the front of the case then the additional airflow helped to reduce core temperatures by around 5 degrees. All that said, if you want a great looking, whisper quiet cooler for general purpose computing work then this is one that should be on your shortlist.17/12/2018 - UPDATEASRock recently issued a Motherboard BIOS update that seems to have had a significant impact on CPU temperatures, reducing them by around 10 degrees to high 70s / low 80s under full load. This has apparently been achieved by better management of CPU voltages, thereby reducing the heat generated. So early concerns may not have been down to this cooler's abilities. I'm now very happy with performance so upgrading it to 5 stars.
