Celebrating the Birth of the Prophet

This text by as-Sayyid ibn ‘Alawī, may Allāh have mercy upon him, is an excellent piece of Islāmic literature which would fit the library of any student of knowledge interested in the various science of the Sharī’ah. The beauty of this text, compiled by the well-respected Sa’ūdī Mālikī jurist, proves the validity of partaking in the birthday of the Prophet Muḥammad ‎ﷺ‎‬ and finely addresses the issue. As someone who is Salafī-oriented, I found this to be a reference which is non-offensive, even mentioning the Fatwah of Shaykh al-Islam ibn Taymīyyah. May Allāh have mercy upon its author and allow us to benefit from it, irrespective of our personal opinion. Great buy!

Amazing book by a Revered scholar

Such a quick and easy read with a wealth of information. A very accessible book written by a great scholar that should be in everyone's mandatory reading list.
