Kiln works well, glass pieces really not all that wonderful. Gloves melt easily so be careful. Tools are handy to have. Well worth it. Delivery very prompt.

This kiln set is an ideal introduction to fused glass work. We purchased this for our teen as a surprise gift. She loved it. It works exactly as promised and makes lovely jewelry and craft pieces. Please note that you should never use this in a microwave that you use for food. This has provided hours of crafting and gift making. We have had to purchase additional supplies when she has run out, but what a great activity for a teen.

Product is as described and works, but the gloves are really good at been heat proof, I was super concerned about using them at first and went with oven mittens, but then tried using them and realized that daymn they are good gloves.The only tricky part is making sure that you've got a strong enough microwave, or if not compensate with a longer run time. 10 to 15 minutes is a good starting point, if it takes more then 25, then the microwave (or something else like the material used) is not right.

This is great! I was going to buy a much more expensive kiln but I’m so glad I got this instead. It works perfectly.
