Heavy duty
The 14ga wire is heavy duty compared to the other cables. This looks like it might work well. It looks like it will last a long time.

Works for a heated blanket. Wires are cool. The cigarette lighter part gets hot with a 45 watt blanket drawing close to 4 amps.

This is a Well Made Alligator Clips and Socket - I Use This Off My Battery For Air Compressor
My new truck doesn't have a Cigarette Lighter Socket. I have a portable air compressor that uses a cigarette socket for power. With this set, I can connect directly to the truck's battery to power the compressor.All in all this is a good well made product, well worth a full 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

cigarette lighter socket to alligator clip has important safety feature
I bought this particular device that provides a cigarette lighter socket on one end and alligator battery clips on the other end because it has an important safety feature. Near the alligator clips there is pocket that contains 1 20 amp standard size (yellow) fuse. There were two extra fuses (one 20 amp and a 25 amp) in a little packet next to the fuse pocket. Thus, you have two spare fuses. This device uses 14 gauge wire rather than the smaller (lower amperage) 16 gauge wire that is found on many similar devices -- most of which do not have any built-in fuse protection. I tried out the device and it works exactly like it is supposed to work.

A great convenience
This allows my husband to clip this onto the car battery and plug in all his older electronic tools outside the car since the 12 volt sockets in the car are hard to get to.

Handy to connect tire inflator directly to vehicle battery.
Used this with tire inflator with integral cigar lighter plug to adapt to direct connection to battery where no cigar light outlet is available.
