Wholesale ChessHeavy Tournament Triple Weighted Chess Pieces

I ordered these chess pieces for a board which my brother had recently made for me. I have another board that is nice, with smaller metal pieces and I wanted larger pieces for this new board. They are definitely larger. They fill the squares on the board. At first, I thought they were a little too big, but as I have played with them a couple of times I like the size more an more. I like the weight of the pieces, and because the board was one hand made by my brother as a gift, I appreciate that he pieces all have felt on the bottom. The pieces are plastic, but to not look or feel cheap. I struggled with purchasing this plastic set or a wooden set to match the board, but could not find a wooden set at a reasonable price with a design that I liked. I do like the design of these pieces, they are more elaborate that the wooden pieces I had to choose from. Another thing that I really enjoy with this set is the additional queen. I have only had the opportunity to use it once, but it was nice to have. The only criticism that I had was that the box they were packaged in came apart in shipping, the order included several other items so they were contained in the larger shipping box from Amazon and there was no damage to the pieces. I am very satisfied with these chess pieces for the function and price. I may eventually purchase a wooden set that matches the chessboard, but I know that I will not find a satisfactory set unless I pay 5-10 times more than I paid for these.

These are great chess pieces for a person who wants to play with them every day and not worry about putting wear and tear on their good set. The pieces feel solid in your hand and the weighting feels just right.I have probably played about 25 games with this set of pieces and this board. This is a very nice set of chessmen, and for the price I paid, I have to give five stars. The pieces are large and have a very nice heft to them. I have a large size chessboard (squares 2.25" x 2.25") and these pieces work very well with it. If you have a small board (like a children's' toy type of board), these pieces might be too big. The pieces I received were in very good condition, without any apparent defects. If you look very closely, you may notice that they are not absolutely flawless in terms of consistent coloration or quality of finish, but to demand perfection at this price point would be ludicrous. If you're looking for perfection, plan to spend a LOT more money.

These are fantastic! I purchased for an 1920's Inn I was flipping. I wanted something that was priced well, good looking and heavy weight. They are just perfect. They came in just a few days and were packaged really well, not a scratch on them. My goal was to have something that a seasoned chess player would be happy with and we would not cringe if a child wanted to learn to play or they were dropped on the floor. This is your product! Kid friendly and seasoned player friendly! Fantastic!

Bought this set to replace old everday/everyone set. The styling is nice and the weighting is really good. I went with this set because it is the set that is on the patio and I wanted a durable set that would hold up to a little moisture. It comes with an extra whit and black queen but it was missing the black knight. The bag with the black pieces has a hole in it and one of the black knights must have come out before it was placed in the shipping bag. The shipping bag was in good shape as were the pieces, just missing the one black knight. I have reached out to the seller yesterday and haven't gotten a response yet. I hope they will just send me the missing piece. I would have rated it 5 stars overall except for the fact that shipping a set with a missing piece is so easily avoidable. A simple weight check will tell you something is amiss. I will update as soon as everything is settled. I would recommend this set for a nice everyday set that you don't have to worry about damaging.

If this set was a tad more expensive it would have gotten 4 stars, but the minor negative points are more than offset by the great price.Pros:-Plastic doesn't have that cheap, plastic-y shine-Nice weight-Extra queens-Unbeatable price-Nicely designed pieces. No hideous dollar store knight design.-Nice sizeCons:-The underside of some of the pieces is a bit uneven, causing a small number of them to wobble a bit.-Plastic-One of my queens arrived broken. I glued it on and I use it as my backup queen since the set comes with extras.Overall the value is unbeatable. To get a wood set good enough to justify replacing this one you would have to spend a minimum of $50, more likely $80.00

The pieces that came with the set I received as a gift were light and didn't feel sturdy at all. So I bought these and they are perfect. The weight is right were you would want it to be.

Great, just waiting on a larger chess board to arrive since this are considerably larger than previous pieces.
