Baohong cold pressed paper
I love the texture of this paper! It’s excellent quality paper for watercolor painting.I notice that the pigments of artist grade watercolors stay vibrant and as saturated as you want them to be.The paper holds up to a lot of layering and water.I’m particularly pleased with it not having a detectable repeated pattern in the texture of the paper.Great for granulating colors. A real pleasure to use. This smaller size fits in my watercolor painting box. Wonderful little block of paper. And it is 100% cotton, which is important for watercolor painting.

Performs as well as Arches
Surprisingly good watercolor paper at a reasonable price. It's a joy to work on--all cotton, thick, good texture, takes colors really well and lifts off to white if you get it while it's still wet. When the paint is dry you can still scrub the colors off somewhat without completely destroying the surface. A seriously good deal.It even shipped with a leaf-shaped plastic tool for slicing the glue edge seal--which is a tad thick so be careful removing the finished painting as it is all too easy to rip the sheet in the process.

Good paper at a lower price
I tried this paper, as it was less expensive than Arches, and was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend trying this brand.

Excellent watercolor paper!
I love this paper and can easily see why so many other watercolor artist rave about it. I have many small blocks of watercolor paper and find myself reaching for this one the most. I love the texture and thickness of the paper. I like that a knife was included for ease of paper removal when done with a piece. I seen other reviews where their paper would tear in removal. There is a lot of glue on the sides of the block! After I had two tiny tears on my piece with the little boy and his teddy bear, I use the knife differently. I will slide that knife under pretty far and slide carefully at an angle. No more rips of the paper! I will say that even though it has thick glue on the sides, the paper does buckle quite a bit. I find that surprising with the way the block is made. Thankfully, my hair dryer knocks those ripples out nicely and I go back to laying down color. I will definitely be purchasing more of this watercolor paper in a variety of sizes! Highly recommend to other watercolor artists. Can’t go wrong with Baohong!

Great quality paper
This paper is excellent quality. My only wish is that it was available in larger blocks! I think it would be my go-to paper if it was. But as it stands, this is my preferred watercolor paper for smaller pieces. As a little bonus, the include a tool similar to a letter opener to unstick the paper when you're ready to remove it. Very thoughtful.

Good Quality Paper, Glued Edges are Awful
The paper pad is on the small size. Even though I was expecting it to be smaller than a full size pad, it did end up being more of a journal size. I wasn't too disappointed about this. The main problem is the glue around the edges, designed to keep the paper from warping when you paint with watercolor. It does a great job of staying flat. However, the glue is inconsistent and too strong in places. If you look at the painting photo I attached, you can see how small pieces ripped out of the edges as I attempted to remove it from the block. Extremely annoying when after the time involved in a painting to be unable to remove it unless pieces of it are ripped out. I have seen videos of this brand of pads and they apparently come with a plastic tool that helps remove the pages. I didn't receive one of these with my pad, but wasn't sure I was supposed to even get one. Now I'm very hesitant to use this pad again because of the risk of tearing.

Great paper for watercolour paints.
Great paper for watercolour paints. Smooth for fine details and held water well.

Watercolor paper
100 percent cotton, very reasonable price! Rougher texture than most watercolor paper, doesn't bother me but if you use hot press or regular cold press another brand, you might be surprised. Holds a wet wash very well with no blooms or backruns the only thing is it's very thirsty paper so working very wet is good. It's a glued block but they provide a plastic tool to seperate the paper and it works well. Overall very pleased.

Watercolour paper block
Just recently bought and tried out this block and was very impressed. I tried a watercolour pour and it straightened out perfectly once it dried. There was also a lot of masking on the project and it came away without tearing the paper. I actually went online to buy a couple more but the site tells me it's not available at this time. I hope this is only temporary. Good value.

Be Prepared!
This is very nice paper but you have been warned....colours FLOW. Yes, you want them to, you just may be surprised how far they go on this. Takes a bit of adjustment. Wet on wet the top part close to the opening buckles a bit. So different to anything I've used before, but very pleasing. There will be effects possible that would be totally impossible on a less thirty paper. Do try it. It's different, and it's fun.
